Walking Away From It All

A/N: New book time, I know Chrissy is crazy LOL! Now this is an idea I had written up in 'What To Publish' book to ask my readers what they thought about it and now I've decided to write it. I know I say this at the beginning of every book I write that it aren't going to be long but this one I want to have it be at least 10 chapters and I could push it to more if the plot keeps going, we'll see. Anyway sit back and enjoy the first chapter of 'Your Still The One'. Happy reading!

Fergal was the happiest man alive right now, he had a wonderful fiance Pam and they had just had a beautiful baby girl Abby and he was just on top of the world. Abby wasn't planned but Fergal was so happy when Pam told him she was pregnant and throughout her pregnancy Fergal stayed by her side for all of her appointments, he'd run out in the middle of the night when Pam got cravings he did it all for Pam. When Abby arrived Fergal was with Pam at the hospital and didn't let go of her hand throughout the whole labour.

The second Abby was placed into his arms he was in love, he kissed Abby on the head saying sweet nothings to his daughter as Pam watched on smiling at them. Pam and Abby where in hospital for a week before they were discharged. Arriving home everything seem perfect and everyone was happy, well that's what Fergal thought....

4 months after Abby was born everything seem fine, Fergal woke up that morning as Pam was still asleep. Kissing her on the head Fergal smiled down at Pam before he walked down the hall to Abby's nursery, walking in he saw his little princess fast asleep. Looking down at her he ran his finger along her cheek before he walked out seeing that Pam had awoken.

"Go back to sleep, Abby is asleep and I'm just going to pop out to get some nappies and other things we need and I'll be back, okay!" Fergal said wrapping his arms around Pam's waist leaning in to kiss her but Pam turned her head and Fergal ended up kissing her on the cheek.

"Okay, I'll see you later" was all Pam said as she pulled out of Fergal's arms and walked back into their bedroom.

...

"Pam, I'm home..... Pam!" Fergal called out as he walked into the house. He had gone to the store and got what they needed before coming home, he placed the shopping and his car keys on the kitchen island before he made his way upstairs.

"Pam!" Fergal called out again as he walked upstairs and headed to Abby's nursery.

Walking into the nursery, Fergal saw that Pam wasn't there but he saw Abby still sleeping peacefully in her cot, he smiled down at her before he turned around and walked out of the nursery and towards his and Pam's bedroom.

"Pam, are you still sleeping sweetheart?" Fergal said as he walked into the bedroom to find the bed made and when he looked around he noticed some of Pam's things were gone.

"Pam, are you playing hide and seek with me now?" Fergal laughed, but his laughter and his smile dropped from his face when he opened the closet and saw that Pam's clothes were all gone and Fergal's heart dropped to the pit of his stomach.

Racing back into the bedroom Fergal franticly looked around until he saw an envelope with Pam's handwriting, it read: 'Fergal' siting on the dresser along side her engagement ring and he grabbed the envelope and ripped it opening reading its content, it read:

Dearest Fergie,

I'm sorry, I love you and Abby but I can't do this. I can't handle being a mum right now and I just want to find myself before I can be a mum to Abby, please understand. Don't look for me, by the time you read this I'll be long gone. Look after Abby.

I love you Fergie, you and Abby please never forget that.

Fergal was so shocked he fell to his knees, He never noticed that Pam wanted out how could he not notice. The more he thought about it the more upset he had become and he started crying. Pam left him, but she didn't just leave him she left a newborn baby girl who needed her mother. He picked up the engagement ring squeezing it hard in his hand as the tears continued to flow down his face before he slammed the ring down on the dresser completely heartbroken. Walking into the nursery Fergal looked down at his baby girl who was now awake gurgling as Fergal picked her up into his arms.

"It's just you and me now princess, just you and me" Fergal said to Abby who just laid in his arms looking at him.

2 years later.....

Abby was now 2 and she was a very smart toddler and Fergal was so proud of his little girl. He had managed to look after her and be in her life while he still wrestled for WWE. He was lucky he could ask his parents to look after Abby on occasions when he was on the road other times when his parents would be away in Ireland, Fergal just took Abby with him on the road. She was very well behaved when she was with her daddy on the road and when Fergal had to go out and perform he'd get Mercedes and the other women in the roster to watch her while he was working and it was working for him and Abby was more than happy to spend time with aunty Mercedes and the other women.

No one had heard from Pam, not even Mercedes who is Pam's best friend. Pam had cut off ties with everyone. It hurt her friends especially Mercedes, Rebecca and Ashley the other horsewomen who were the closest with Pam. Fergal just went on with his life as hard as it was he had to be strong for his daughter, it was just him and Abby, to Fergal the most important girl in his life was Abby. He closed his heart off and turned it to stone after Pam left him, he didn't want to be with another woman not now, not ever.

Fergal had just finished his match against Seth Rollins which he won and he was walking towards catering after changing out of his ring gear to look for Mercedes who he was told was watching Abby. Walking into catering he saw Abby sitting at the table with Mercedes colouring in with some of the other female talents. He made his way towards the table but before he could get there Abby had looked up and saw him coming over.

"Daddy, Daddy!" Abby screamed as she slowly got off the chair with Mercedes helping her and she run to her dad.

"There's my girl! How are you princess? Were you good for aunty Mercedes?" Fergal asked lifting her into his arms as she giggled.

"Yes daddy, I promise" Abby replied wrapping her little arms around his neck hugging him tightly.

Walking to the table with Abby in his arms, Fergal sat down next to Mercedes placing Abby on his lap as she went back to colouring.

"So have you planned anything for this princess's birthday yet?" Mercedes asked watching Abby colouring in.

"I'm just doing a party for her at home, in the backyard this weekend, nothing too big but it will be a party" Fergal replied kissing Abby on the back of her head as he spoke.

"Well we'll come and help you set everything up" Mercedes said looking at Fergal and Abby.

"Thanks Mercedes, not only for helping with the party this weekend, for everything you've done for me and Abby since Pam walked out on us. Thank you" Fergal said looking sad in his eyes but snapped out of it.

"That's what I'm here for, I was happy to help Fergal" Mercedes said before she was called for her match. "crap I have to go I have a match, we'll talk later Fergal" she jumped up from the table grabbing her coat before walking off.

After Mercedes left, Fergal looked at Abby who was getting tired as she leaned back into her daddy arms snuggling up to him.

"Since daddy is finished, lets go home princess. It's bed time for you!" Fergal said getting up from the table with Abby now asleep in his arms, he walked out of catering and into his locker room to grab his luggage before walking out of the arena to his car. He gently placed Abby in her car seat buckling her in before he put his luggage in the trunk then he jumped into the driver's seat, starting the car and driving toward home.
