-10 Keith's POV

"You're really starting to get the hang of this." Allura grinned. "What Dual wielding or my transformation?" I smirked. "Mm both." She giggled. "Glad to see you think it's amusing, your training is harsh." I replied. "The harsher the training the stronger you'll get." Allura said. "I know that's why I'm not complaining, plus the Blades training was more intense anyway." I replied. "I'm offended." Allura mocked dramatically. "Sorry my Princess." I joked with a bow. "Did I mention Galra Allura looks beau- awesome?" I added. "Oh?" She questioned and I smirked. "Of course! All though my opinion may be biased." I replied. "And why is that?" She asked with a grin. "Multiple reasons." I dodged. "And what exactly are those reasons?" Allura questioned. "Ah ah ah Allura that's too nosy and would you look at the time training is over." I smirked.

"Alright enough with the banter I think you should get a blood test." Allura said. "Why?" I asked. "We need to make sure you're still healthy and everything." She explained. "Oh right of course. So now?" I replied. "Not now we need proper Altean technology for a thorough scan." She answered. "Do I sense a secret mission Princess?" I grinned. "Indeed, we must leave right away incase there is something wrong with you. Oh and on second thought your mother should come as well." Allura replied. "Got it." I responded.

~time skip~ (A/N: They only have the Black Lion. They've stopped on a planet and Krolia is out making sure it's safe to let their guard down.)

"This is impossible! We've scanned every planet we've come across and none of them have the final material for the Altean Cryopods. I've lost even more things connecting me to Altea." Allura grumbled. "What about Arusia? Your father must have chosen it for more than one reason." I suggested. "Oh my gosh I didn't think of that! You may be right, thank you." Allura exclaimed with a big hug. "Allura it's just an idea you would've thought of it sooner or later." I dismissed. "No Keith, when we lost the Castle of Lions I felt like my world came crashing down once more. But Keith you've replaced so much of everything. You found my people, you've sacrificed yourself for me many times which I don't approve of by the way, you've possibly just found the only other planet that has the material for building fully Altean technology, and you're the leader of my father's Lions."She replied.

"Allura I- I'm not- I don't know what to say." I said. "You don't need to say anything. In fact if it wasn't for you we never would've found the Blue Lion which means I would've still been in the cryopod, there would be no Voltron which means the universe would probably be in ruins. It's all thanks to you Keith. I owe you my life, everyone does but me especially." Allura pointed out. I just stood there wide eyed because I couldn't deny it, everything she just said is true. An explosion from outside jarred me out of my state. "Galra." Krolia said as she rushed into my Lion. "On it mom!" I exclaimed, jumping into the pilot seat and zooming off. "Where to next?" Krolia asked. "Arusia." Allura replied. "Isn't that the planet the Castle of Lions was on for ten thousand years?" Krolia questioned. There was no reply from Allura so I assumed she had noddded.

~time skip~ (A/N: Yay! Another time skip brought to you by the laziest author ever. Shiro and Matt have left for the Coalition btw. It's really bad being a lazy author when you're not writing fanfiction because then you can't time skips, *sigh* the problems of this world ;). Well anyway continuing on.)

There was a knock on my door and I opened it to reveal Allura. "What's up?" I asked. "It's finally time for your blood test." She replied and I nodded, steeping out of my room before closing it shut behind me. We walked down the hall in nerve racking silence. I took a deep breath before opening the handle to an infirmary room where the healing pods were currently being held. "Coran I got him." Allura said as we walked into the room. I stepped into the pod with everyone crowding around it.

My eyes instantly closed but after what seemed like a second opened again. I stumbled out of the pod but steadied myself with another step. "You're perfectly fi- OH MY GOSH! Krolia have you ever taken a blood test?" Allura said. "No." Krolia replied which only added to Allura's face. "What is it? Is there something wrong?" I asked. "No quite the opposite!" Allura exclaimed which left me even more confused. "You're royalty." Allura said. "What?" I exclaimed. "You're descended from the true royal Galran bloodline. This is amazing, exactly what we need to end the war!" She explained. "I- no I'm not cut out to be a leader like that." I protested. "But you're the leader of Voltron!" Pidge exclaimed. "That's different!" I disagreed. "It's really not." Pidge replied. "But-" I tried to protest again. "Keith remember what I said earlier." Allura interrupted. "I just- I need to think about this." I sighed before running out of the room. "Black!" I called.

(A/N: Lol, since I missed a day today was supposed to be a double update but now I'm thinking I want to leave it on a cliffhanger. MUHUHAHAHAHA!!!!)
