When Ocarin got home he said hi to his mum, gave his sister a little hug and ran off upstairs to experiment on this strange cube.
First he tried to pry it open from the blue veins. Nothing. Next he tried touching random shapes on the cube to see if any triggered something. Still nothing. After an hour of testing he was getting pretty tired and decided to just give up. What ever that thing was for, he wasn't finding out any time soon.
Ocarin woke with a start, he checked the clock to see that it was three in the morning. He heard a bump from by his wardrobe and decided to investigate. He ventured out onto the carpet. Each step feeling like it was taking a century. He finally reached the wardrobe. His hand reached towards the handle, and slowly he opened the door.
