One afternoon I was sitting in a very comfy bed with my lap top on my lap and writing some new idea that popped into my head for a book. When all of a sudden my door was busted into flying off the hinges.

"KAY GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS RIGHT NOW AND PACK YOUR SHIT WERE GOING ON A TRIP!" Yelled my best friend and practically brother; Ren.

"Whyyyyy....." I wined not wanting to get up

"Because you've been in your room for months and barely ever leave the house...!" He said annoyed and walked over to me pulling me out of bed by my leg's as I gripped the sheet for my life

"Nooooo!" I yelled as my hands gave way and I fell on the floor

"If you come with me and Laurence I will buy you a new manga collection..." He said trying to make a deal with me

"Really....?" I asked not buying what he was saying

"I promise" He said and I shot up grabbing my bag ready to start packing, but then quickly froze....

"Where are we going?" I asked finally and he smiled

"Mount Ebott" he said excitedly; I always thought it was funny that they called it that since there was a game in the United States that had a mountain called that too.

Anyway we were gonna hike up the mountain to a log cabin me and my friends brought. We went to it constantly since we brought this house on this random island by Japan it was absolutely beautiful and had a lively city. Even though it was quite secluded from the rest of the world. 

So I started packing as fast as I could making sure to put my laptop and writing things in my special metal case. I also took all of my needed supplies and just some items I never left without. I got dressed into clean clothes and washed up, then I walked down stairs and into the living room that was a complete mess from Ren and me throwing tons of all night movie nights.

"You ready to go?" He asked and I shook my head 'yes'. I went on my way with my to the giant mountain it didn't take a super long time, but it took long enough we walked most places since I didn't like cars much. We stopped at the bottom and I turned to see Laurence running up he probably had just gotten back from work and had to speed pack and run here.

"Hey, what's up" he signed panting from his sprinting. He was a mute which he'd been for about a year now since an accident. We decided to start up the mountain and I trailed behind slightly.

Soon the snow started to fall heavily on the mountain but the view of the city was absolutely beautiful. I stopped and turned to my friend's with an idea.

"Hey guy's can we get a picture?" I asked and they both stopped turning around to face me.

"Sure" Laurance signed and Ren just nodded they both walked over and I pulled out my polaroid camara and we all stood together taking a selfie. I let the picture print and waited a second it came out really good. I then took a quick picture of the city as my friends started walking away. I looked at the photo quickly it was our city and the suburban areas covered in a blanket of white with little amounts of snow falling in the pictures. I saw them getting further away and I quickly put the camera away running to catch up with them. Then about five minutes later we came to a split in the path.

"Its to the left" Laurance signed

"I think its to the right" Red quickly said and they stared each other down. This was about to start a big fight again...every time we came here they argued that it was the opposite way and honestly I never remembered or payed attention to even know...

"How about ill go right and Ren goes left" I said and they both looked at me as if I just ended the world they never liked me being alone...the only exception was me being in my room and working...I was just trying to end the stupid argument so we didn't have to stand in the snow forever...

"You cant go alone..." They both said and signed in sync

"It's fine...we go this way all the time...give me 30 minutes and ill be back okay...Laurance stay here okay.." After what seemed like forever they both looked at each other and agreed so I walked along the path for a long time. Soon I lost track of time and the snow was sticking. I couldn't see even an inch in front of me. Then something unexpected happened my footing gave way. I tried to moved quickly, but it was to late...I was falling backwards....darkness surrounding me as I fell further down light fading above me...I closed my eyes and prepared for the impact and my end...
