I hear voices softly as I slowly open my eyes. My eyes clear up and I see a ceiling start to come into focus. I look around and see that i'm in a bedroom. I sit up slowly as to not hurt myself but realized there is no pain except a little sting in my hands. I sit up and get off the bed...I see some close on the chair with a note...

From Undyne~

I put the clean closes on and opened the door of the room looking out into the hall and down the stairs...this was Sans and Papyrus' house...I walked into the open area and saw many people sitting around talking

"Hey your awake!" Papyrus says in his loud voice and everyone turned to me

"Oh so this is the human!" a fish looking women says and she was quite beautiful...she looked me up and down and made me kinda scared

"Thank you" she said and she hugged me. I hugged back and when she let go I looked around confused

"Why are you thanking me?" I asked confused

"Y-you saved T-toriel were a-a-all great full to y-you" A smaller yellow women said

"Oh you don't have to thank me" I said looking down embarresed and then I felt a tug at my pants leg and I looked..it was Frisk

"You saved my mom" she signed and I smiled as I knelled to her hight as she hugged me tightly

"Thank you all" I said

"Why are you thanking us!" Papyrus said

"Cause youve all been so nice..." I said with a smile

"Well anyway my name is Kay" I said introducing myself to the two new people

"My names Undyne! And I am the strongest monster in the underground" she laughed triumphantly with her hands on her hips

"M-my name i-is Alphas" the smaller women said and I smiled at both of them

"It's very nice to meet you both" then something clicked

"Wait Alphas?" I asked and she looked at me confused

"Y-yes" she stuttered and I looked at her excitedly

"Umm I had a question about the surface...me and Sans we talking about me returning but he said the path way was blocked off since you guys were working on it...I was just curious about how long that might take...?" she seem startled by my question

"o-oh ummmm....maybe a-about a m-month" she said adjusting her glasses

"Oh thank you...also where is Sans?" I said sadly then I looked around confused realizing he wasnt there

"Oh well he stayed up all night watching over you and fell asleep so we put him in his bed" Undyne said...why did he stay up with me..? I was confused but ignored the thought

"Well how is Tori?" I asked and was quickly answered by a voice that was next to me in the kitchen

"I'm fine sweet heart thank you for asking and thank you for saving me" Tori said walking out of the kitchen holding a pie. I smiled happily at the thought that she was okay. Then I heard lots of shuffling upstairs then someone ran down stairs

"Ka-" I turned to see Sans running down stairs and then stopping at the sight of me

"Good morning lazy bones" I said and everyone giggled and Papyrus looked annoyed scoffing at my pun

"Guess your okay now" He said back and stood next to me then moved to the couch and I followed sitting down with everyone. So I'm staring in the underground for a month? Guess I'm gonna have to find a place.

"Umm do you guy know of any inns I could stay at, you know since I'm kinda stuck here" I giggled

"Oh umm ther-" Undyne was cut off

"Why don't you just stay here?" Sans said bluntly and everyone looked at him in surprise

"WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA SANS!" Papyrus yelled and I looked at both of them

"But-" before I could say anything Papyrus started running around getting the guest bedroom ready

"Oh well now I cant even say no" I laughed along with everyone else

"So where are you and Frisk staying" I asked Tori and she said

"Oh we're staying at the castle with my ex husband..." she sounded annoyed when saying husband...guess there not on good terms

Time flew by and soon people were leaving. Me and Sans we're sitting on the couch and Papyrus was cleaning us some plates.

"The great Papyrus is tired and must get his beauty sleep!" Paps yelled walking up the stairs

"Gooooood night Sans and human Kay!" He yelled down as he shut the door to his room. Me and Sans laughed and looked at eachother shaking our heads

"Yeah it's getting pretty late we should get to bed..." Sans said with a yawn

"Are you sure you don't want me to rent a room in a inn? I feel like I'm imposing on you guys..." I said kinda embarrassed

"Nawww it's fine....plus it's been awhile since we have had a new roommate so this should be fun...so just make yourself at home" he said and started walking upstairs. I followed him up the stairs and he opened the door to my room

"Here's your room, I'm right across the hall if you need anything and Paps is in that room there and the bathroom is next to him" he said pointing out each room then he went and opened his door. But just as I was about to enter the my room Sans quickly said

"Hey Kay...this is random, but why did you risk your life to save Toriel?" I had only turned partly in the doorway

"Probably cause I know what is feels like to grow up with out a mother and I didn't want Frisk to have to live with that..." I said and looked at him he looked embarrassed

"I'm so-" before he could finish I just smiled and said

"It's okay I've lived with loss a lot threw my life, but don't go feeling sorry for me" I turned away from him entering the room and closing the door behind me with a sigh...

Sans Pov:

I felt bad for what I said and then she smiled and all I saw was pain....she said

"It's okay I've lived with loss a lot threw my life, but don't go feeling sorry for me" I was taken back by the words...as she turned away from me and closed the door...Kay made her self look so strong and happy....but I could see threw that smile it was the same smile I had every time the kid reset...it was a broken smile....
