A puppy, packing, and a fiance?!?

Kay Pov:

I was upstairs in my room packing up my things while Sans and Paps were downstairs playing with the puppy. I had for almost everything into my bag that I came to undertale in. I left somethings in the draw that I didn't wanna take plus if I visit I'd like to have some stuff....

I paused for a second taking a quick look at the bare room then saw something on the wall...it was a picture I framed of me and everyone at the party that I was invited to when I first came to Undertale. Tori had taken it at some random time when we were all together...I walked over to it with a small smile admiring it. For some reason I was in the middle of Sans and Paps, Mettaton was hanging on Paps neck and Sans looked like he was gonna kill him, Undyne and Alphas were holding hands next to Mettaton while Alphas looked like she was gonna pass out from all the blood that had rushed to her face turning it red. Then Tori and Frisk were on the other side of Sans together just smiling while Frisk was holding Tori's legs, Flowey was also in this picture on the end crossing his petals in frustration turning away from Tori and Frisk...Such a broken flower I hope Alphas will be able to help him soon.

I walked down the stairs with my bag and saw both Sans and Paps on the floor with the puppy. The puppy was biting Sans leg and Sans kept picking him up and then it would lick his face so he would put it down, it would run around then I would come back and do the entire routine over again. I watched this happen for the next few minutes giggling then I sat down next to them in the living room.

"Come her girl" I said and the puppy turned to me running up and licking my like crazy then I realized something...

"Wait are you a boy or a girl...shit...." I said softly and Sans laughed

"That a pawplexing question" Sans made one of his usual puns that made me giggled and Paps face palm...I picked the little puppy up and looked quickly then i put her down while she started playing again.

"Hummm so your a boy then what should I name you ?" I said my eyes furrowing a bit in thought Sans and Paps were stairing at me

"What about spaghetti ?" Paps said and I giggled

"Oh is your answer for everything spaghetti?" I was laughing at Sans comment still thinking about names

"What about Echo?" I said looking down at the little puppy who was wagging his tail in delight

"Why Echo" Sans and Paps said in sync

"Well I kinda found him by a lot of echo flowers so I just think it's a cool name" I said smiling and Echo started going crazy licking everyone and barking slightly....I guess he like the name...we all laughed and then I got a text. I took my phone at and looked down at it seeing a message from Alphas

Dinogirl: Hey everyone is at the lab if you would like to say goodbye...

"oh..." I said my smile dropping as I stood up and turned away from my two friends grabbing my bag off the floor

"I guess it's time to go..." I said and walked back over to echo and picking him up...Sans and Paps look really upset...I walked over to the door and they both followed me

We walked out the door and went to Alphas' lab it took awhile but after a while we were a few minutes away. The entire walk was silent and I was deep in thought...but as we were about 10 minutes away a shadow flew past my face I stopped walking....both Sans and Paps also stopped walking turning back to me

"What's up Kay...?" Sans said and I just shrugged and we continued walking but I had this feeling that I was being followed.

We reached the lab and entered threw the door till we found Alphas lab. The door slid open and everyone was there...I was enveloped in a giant hug by everyone...I wanted to cry already...

"Alphas...?" I said looking to her she just smiled sadly

"Ahh y-yes the portal I-I b-built it's over there..." she pointed to a arch the was white...my eyes started to water and I saw the shadow again it walked towards the door...

"I'm sorry I need a minute..." I said walking out the door of the lab...I saw everyone's faces filled with sadness...and it hurt a lot...the look on Sans face made my heart sink...I exited the lab and followed the shadow which finally stopped leading me into a random room

"Who are you?" I asked and then I saw the person...someone I hadn't seen in a very long time...

"Derick..." the love of my life was standing in front of me...my ex fiance...

"Hello love..." he said in his voice that I missed

"Why are you here Derick...." It hurt to see him and brought images into my head of his death again....he smiled a smile that made my heart sink in sadness

"Kay...you know you can't leave this place...your happy finally and now you want to leave...I know I can't do anything with you now and I only have but a moment to say what I would like but...Kay please try...try to stop and think about what would make you happy....you don't need to go back again that is your past...I'm not there anymore you need to move on and love again...and you can find love here again and have an amazing life...there are gonna be challenges ahead and you need your friend's to get threw this...I'm not telling you to forget the past but to live with it and continue with your life...I love you Kay and I will always love you...please think about yourself..." Derick said all of this and a tear started to roll down my face which he whipped away placing a hand on my cheek as he started to fade...I know he only had a few moments and it was very difficult for spirits to form like this unless they had extreme amounts of determination

"I will always love you...i'm sorry" I said quickly

"Hunny it wasn't your fault...you are forgiven...find...love...again" and with that he disappeared and I fell to my knees that I hadn't know were shaking...I got up after a few moments and collected my thoughts...I left the room and went back to the room where everyone was they all turned to me as the door slid open automatically....Frisk ran up and hugged me and I knelled to her height...

"Kay I don't want you to leave..." She signed and I sat there for a moment

"And neither do I..." I signed back and stood up after hugging her tightly...Alphas led me to the portal and I looked at it she stood there giving me a tight hug...I turned to face everyone as they waved and said goodbye then I turned back to the portal about to take a step...then i stopped remembering what Derick had just said and Sans face...Sans sad eyes and frown which I had never really seen even when he was upset...I turned back around and ran back to Sans falling into his arms and hugging him tightly and seemed surprised from the way he tensed up but hugged me back...

"I can't...I can't leave..." I mumbled....

"What...?" Sans asked, he couldn't understand me since my head was buried in his sweatshirt...I let go of him and looked at everyone...

"I can't leave..." I said louder and there was a surprised look crossing everyone's faces...

"I can't leave you guys...your all my friend's...this is my home...and I love you guys" my eyes watered but I would not cry and everyone hugged me as soon as they let go Paps looked confused

"So does this mean your staying?" He asked in his innocent and curious voice 

"Yes Paps that's exactly what that means" I said smiling and everyone started celebrating Sans started smiling a real happy smile...I need them all and I really need Sans...
