Cookies Lead to Blushing

Kay's pov:

We entered the house and I placed the bags on the counter emptying them with the help of Sans. I quickly tied my hair back and started putting the ingredients together that we needed.

"So Sans I would like you to mix this while I add the ingredients in the bowl" I said and Sans came up beside me holding the bowl with one hand and stirring with the wooden spoon with the other. He had been just standing there starring and this was supposed to be something we both did.

"Lazy bones you got to do something other wise this won't be as good" I said and he just chuckled which made me laugh too. We sat there for awhile mixing ingredients.

"How do you know all the amounts? I thought you would have dough for brains" he joked and I just ignored it smiling turning the oven on to pre heat

"Well I like to bake a lot so I have them memorized but you don't have to help if your too tired I'm just yokeing your chain" I joked back and he smiled.

Once we mixed all of the ingredients we decided to put the batter on the pan. I put it in the oven after it pre heated and set a timer on my phone. Then we sat there in silence so just be silly I sprinkled some flower on Sans head. He jumped in surprise brushing it off his head.

"You wanna go...?" He said moving his hand and his eye turning blue and then I felt a cup full on flower on my head and it pored down my face. We both laughed at each other and cleaned off our heads.

"Hey so back there in the store you were pretty awesome" he said and I looked at him surprise

"Well umm I...it just I go a little crazy sometimes when people treat me like an object especially when I already said no..." I said remembering the event and shaking my head in annoyance.

"Said no?" He asked confused

"Ohhhh wait when you said you were with your boyfriend" he finished connecting the dots

"Yeah....that pisses me off..." I said and he laughed a bit

"Oh you just sounded like Undyne" he said in a low voice

"But anyway that guy was an ass hole...he shouldn't treat women like that...you should have let me take care of him" he said laughing but yet kinda scary. I decided to be a little mean and have some fun with him...

"What do you think you can treat a women better?" I said curiously getting closer to him but he was to focused on laughing to notice

"Well yeah..w-wait wh-What—" before he could finish I got closer to him pinning him to the wall. My arms were bent and on each side of his head he was only an inch or two taller then me so it made it kinda easy. I was making him blush insanely and it was really adorable. I leaned into his ear my lips almost touching

"What do you think you could handle a women like me..." I said subductivly

"W-w-wait I-i u-um m-mean" he stuttered every word and it made me giggle as my phone when off to signify that the cookies were done. I backed away and turned away not before getting a look at Sans blushing face of embarrassment.

"Oooo the cookies are done" I said humming and taking them out of the oven. While Sans still stood against the wall frozen in thought...I think I broke him

"I'm sorry Sans I was just joking with you...you okay?" I asked placing the tray on the stove to cool down

"Y-Yeah I'm fine let's get back to your amazing cookies you tough cookie" he said and I giggled shaking my head. It was 7 and Paps should be getting up around now and I was right. I heard rustling upstairs and soon Paps was coming down stairs.

"Oh human Kay and Sans your up early!" He yelled....even in the morning he's so loud...maybe he just can't hear right..? I was deep in thought but ignored it grabbing some cereal and bringing it to the table with some milk I pored some into a bowl and started eating while Sans followed doing the same.

"Yeah I decided to get up early and make you guys some cookies for your big trip and I accidentally woke Sans up" I said eating my cereal and Paps was in the kitchen. Soon enough he came and sat down with his plate of spaghetti.

All of us were eating till I saw someone standing there right behind Sans....
She was the same hight as Frisk and looked almost exactly the same but had longer hair and a different sweater on it was green and yellow...this was kinda normal for me because I saw dead things once in awhile...i had some weird connections to the other side that I never understood. But even so it still startled me and scared the shit out of me most of the time...I jumped looking behind Sans and the girl noticed

"You can see me?....I'm Chara...I'm need to warn you of danger that is coming..." She cried and I knew she was telling the truth...this form she took told me as such...

"Sans....do you know possibly know someone named Chara?" I asked and as soon as I said that he spit out his food choking on its. Paps was confused

"Umm how do you know that name?" Sans said his eyes going dark as he spoke...

"Well she's standing behind you she's warning of us of danger..." I said and continued eating my cereal Sans looked around summoning a bunch of bones...guess there not on good terms

"She's dead silly..." I said with a giggle

"How can you see her then?" Paps asked

"Well I have this weird ability to sometimes see dead things...I can see them differently based on there intentions...and from what I see now is a sad little girl who is trying to help as a way to apologize for something she did during her human life..." I said confused at my own words while staring at the little girl she was sad and Sans was still on guard even tho his eyes were no longer blue and had faded back to his normal color but had a dark look to them...

"So what's the warning hunny?" I asked the little girl starring at her frail figure as it shook in terror. I sat calmly trying to keep my cool besides the fact that Sans had a ghost standing next to him....

"The man...the man in black...h-he-" as she was finishing her sentence she started to fade out of existence she realized it and her eyes widened

"Don't go to the surface! Just don't you'll-" and she disappeared

"Wait what-" She was gone before I got the words out and I must have frightened the skelabros...they were both on the edge of there seats and my expression changed as I turned back to them...

"So what did she say...?" Sans asked curiously filling his face with dread as he spoke expecting the worse...

"Well she said to beware of the man in black and for me to not to go back to the surface or else..." I said cleaning up my food..I had lost my appetite after that confrontation...

"Or else what?" Paps asked innocently...damn he was like a little kid and it killed me sometime...but I got to be strong...I turned to both of them and looked them straight in the eyes filled with determination and said...

"I have no fuckin clue" I smile and both of them sighed. Sans face palmed at my idiocy and just laughed and Paps looked mortified

"A young lady should not use such foul words!" He said scolding me (Kiss kiss fall in love da da da dun dun da dun...oh sorry my anime references will be corny)

Seriously has Paps ever heard me speak...well I guess I hadn't been needing to curse so I just haven't...or his innocent brain blocked it out...

"Hey just watch what you say I don't wanna have to explain anything to him!" Sans scolded me also but I just laughed...awww there so cuteeeee!!!

The conversation moved from the topic as we cleaned the table and the guys got ready to leave...but I couldn't get ride of this feeling like something was wrong maybe I was just worked up from what the kid said but then again I have bad anxiety so who knows...guess all there is to do is continue on with life I mean there's only a month left till I can go back home...but what if..naw never mind I'll just be ready for them to leave and hang out alone....
