POV of Lillian/Tigress

I slowly woke up to my alarm clock. Sleepily turning over to press the button to turn it off. When the red numbers hit my eyes, I woke up completely. It was already 7:30, I had somehow managed to set my alarm an hour too late.

I hopped out of bed and hurriedly brushed my hair and put it in two French braids.

"Ugh, why are you in such a hurry Lillian? Can't we sleep in?" Zeena nagged, waking up from her spot on my nightstand.

"That's exactly what happened Zeena! Its an hour later than normal, we need to leave like, right now!"

I dashed to my closet and pulled out a purple off-the-shoulder shirt and some blue Capri jeans. As I grabbed for my purse, I nocked my bracelet off the desk. Zeena, who was finally being useful, picked it up and shoved me out my bedroom door.

"Oh, thank you Zeena!" I said as I rushed to the kitchen.

"Ready to leave dear?" My mom asked.

"Yeah, just let me grab an apple and some peppers."

Zeena sat on my shoulder and held onto the peppers so I could take the apple. We rushed out the door and headed to school.

~~~
"Bye mom! See you after school."
"Ugh, I really don't want to go to school today. I'm sooo tired from homework last night." I said to Zeena as we headed inside. She zoomed into my binder as soon as we saw someone.
"Hey Rylin!" I said to the person who made Zeena have to hide.
"Hi Lillian. How are you? Did you get all your homework done?" He asked.
We opened the doors of our school and headed up to the top of the stairs. "I'm OK. I set my alarm for an hour too late so I had to really rush out this morning. And I was up really late doing homework. Stupid chemistry and World Lit.!"
"It really wasn't that much homework."
"True, but I was busy and only had the late evening to work on it." Thank you Madame Paon. "What about you? Did you get all your homework done?"
Rylin and I opened our lockers and put our backpacks in them. I then proceeded to slip a pepper into my zipper close binder, just in case.
I turned around and set by binder on the ground. As I stood up, Rylin nudged me in the shoulder. I rolled my eyes, knowing exactly what it meant. It meant that as I looked up, I was going to see Ian Sierra.
I was right.
He walked right past us without much acknowledgement. "Wow. Thanks Rylin." I really was thanking him. I just didn't want to let on how big of a crush it really was.
"Wake up Disney Princess. You're staring." Rylin said bluntly.
"Ooh, trying some new insults are we?"
"Yeah. I thought this one was pretty fitting." I looked down at my watch and saw that we had 5 minutes before class started
"We should probably head to class." I said, picking up my binder.
"OK. See ya!" Rylin waved as he left down the hallway in the opposite direction.
I slowly walked to my first class, Pre-Calculus. Ian still on my mind. I never really get to talk to him. We only have one class together and that class is only on Thursday's. Today is Monday. Not Thursday.
"Hi Callie!" I said. I pulled out my seat next to her and sat down, placing my binder on the table to use as a pillow.
"Hey." Callie's full name is Calogera. I always found it interesting, her parents had a knack for naming their kids unusual names. Callie has a sister named Tallulia and a brother named Lemon. Yup, just like the fruit.
"Did you hear about the hero's that showed up last night?" She asked.
"What?"
"They're just like Ladybug and Chat Blanc in Paris, only here! There's also a villain. She calls herself Madame Paon. 'Miss Peacock' in English. I'm so excited to have our own hero's, here in the US!" Callie is sort of my Alya if I was Marinette.
"That's really cool!"
"I know right? I can't wait to see what their powers are and what's up with that villain. The fight happened really near to Ella's house. She managed to film the entire thing and send it to me. I'm so jealous!"
Ella was there? How had I not noticed her? What if she had gotten hurt? What if anyone got hurt? What would I do then? Sure, I've been training in how to use my powers, but I've never had to interact with another human being. Only trees, really.
"Is she ok? Was she hurt?"
"Oh, no. She's fine. A street light went out right in front of her house, but that's as close as Madame Paon's anger reached her. I wonder what the deal is with her."
"Yeah." I replied. I couldn't say anything about her demanding for our miraculouses, because I "wasn't there" so how would I know?
"Ok class, if you could quiet down a bit, we can get started!" Miss Wheeler called to the class.
Pre-Calculus went by fast and so did Chemistry. It wasn't until third period during Film Studies, that something out of the ordinary happen.
