Starlight burst into her sister's castle in Ponyville, exhausted. She had galloped the whole way to the train station, paced on the train, and sprinted through Ponyville just to get there. She attempted to catch her breath before entering the throne room.
Starlight used her horn to oped the massive double doors. She slowly walked, in stoping until she was right in front of her sisters throne. She bowed, her muzzle touching the velvet carpet.
"Oh Starlight, we don't have to be that formal!" The lavender colored alicorn said. "We're sisters!"
"Twilight, you've got to listen to me!" That sure got her attention!
"What is it?!"
"I read about a legend of the Frozen Mare." Starlight told the legend to her sister. "I think the Summer Sun Celebration has another meaning!"
"What if Princess Celestia brought the sun up as a secret sign? That the heat from the sun melted the ice?"
"Star, you are a genius!" Twilight exclaimed. "Spike, take a letter please, to the princess."
"Okie dokie," Spike said preparing his quill.
"Dear Princess Celestia, my sister, Starlight Sparkle has reported told me about the legend of the Frozen Mare. Legend has it that for the last 1000 years, she has been storing up her power, preparing to escape. My friends and I will use the Elements of Harmony to..." she stopped, tears welling up in her eyes.
