The place was still packed with drunk people, who had slept had the drunken spot when I woke up from my sleep. I didn't wait to wave anyone, as I began to make my way to the door. I was about to open the door, when 'sup' came from behind me, making me quickly turn to see who it was. It was Esse. She was staring at me with a smile.
"Can I see you for a few?" she said as she directed her thumbs to her room direction.
She didn't need to ask twice or beg. I nodded and came down from the stair to follow her.
By the time I got to her room, she was already in it and she was seated in her bed already, waiting for me. She tapped the space beside her when she saw me. I obeyed her directions and went to sit down beside her.
She cleared her throat before she spoke. "Err... so you know Wattpad right?"
I nodded without replying her.
"I feel inspired by your story and want to write a story titled Evan, and put it there. What do you think?"
I immediately loved the idea. "Are you for real?" asked her with a smile as I couldn't bear seating and jumped up.
She smiled and nodded. "Yes, it's a story I want to be out there. It's a story I think that would make a lot of change."
I couldn't utter a word again as I just kept on nodding to her words. I was excited that, through my story a change was going to be made. I was too excited that I didn't know when I fell on my knees and began to hug her. She didn't react or say anything as he simply kept on tapping my back.
I felt safe, I felt loved. But, it kept on ringing in my head that I had been friend-zoned by her, and wasn't going to ever escape it.
