baksu! a bitch is back at it- I mean Seventeen right here! heh heh...

We sat in the waiting room in a tense silence. Hoseok had to stop as his house to shower, but Lucy was still in labor by the time we arrived. I held my boyfriend's hand, resting my head on his shoulder while Namjoon sat next to me. His arms were crossed over his chest, glaring at the door as he watched for Jin to come and tell us that the baby had been born. Apparently, Lucy had called him in for moral support.

"So, Mingyu came," Hoseok sighed out, resting his head against mine. I hummed and stared at our clasped hands. "He's so weak now. I know he doesn't want pity, but my heart breaks for him. It was so nice to see him again, though," I replied, reaching my free hand out for my older brother, who gladly took it. He hated hospitals, mainly because I was the reason he was last in one. Plus, he and Jin would always comfort one another, but Jin wasn't there at the moment. It was my duty to bring Namjoon comfort.

I lifted my head and let my boyfriend lean against me as he let out a humorless chuckle. "Coach didn't want to put Wonwoo in as pitcher, because he saw Mingyu in the stands and just lost it," he mumbled and I frowned. I silently urged him to continue, nudging him while Namjoon rested his head on my other shoulder. "But Wonwoo fought him. He said that Mingyu wasn't doing too well and he wanted to make him proud. He said that the last person who would ever love him shouldn't be a loser. He won for Mingyu."

Hoseok's voice cracked and I kissed his head, Namjoon reaching over me to pat his knee. "Mingyu never thought Wonwoo was a loser. He was just thankful he found someone amazing to love and be loved by. Win or lose, he wouldn't have cared. They have a special kind of love, just like you two," he mumbled with a half-smile.

"You're really smart, Namjoon-hyung," Hoseok said, giving my brother a big smile. Namjoon shrugged. "Traveling the world teaches you things. And raising TaeTae." I scrunched my nose and he stuck his tongue out at me, earning a light giggle from Hoseok.

"A baby," Hoseok cooed animatedly as we stepped into Lucy's room about four hours later. She was half-asleep with her baby girl laying on her chest. Jin closed the door and stood by Namjoon, allowing us to sit by the bed. "She looks like you," I said to Lucy, who smiled down at her daughter. "Thank you, Tae. I don't know what her name should be, though," she replied quietly. "Name her Bree," Namjoon mumbled, making Lucy look up at him with a warm smile. "Bree. I love it."

Hoseok wanted to hold Bree, so I sat him down in the bedside chair and helped him position his arms correctly to support her. "We had baby cousins who would cry if Taehyung didn't hold them. He's a baby magnet," Jin explained as Lucy watched me in wonder. I blushed while Hoseok smiled down at his baby cousin. "Hi," he said, "I'm Hobi. I like baseball and my boyfriend Taehyung. He has a deep voice." He sighed happily as I blushed a little more. "Ah, Lucy, she's so pretty!"

Seeing Hoseok like this made my heart warm. He glowed as he held Bree in his arms, gazing down at her with that gooey, whipped smile. Just something about him and children made butterflies erupt in my stomach and a big, dopey smile to wash across my face. Lucy gestured for me to come and sit on the edge of the bed with a huge smile on her face. I obeyed and leaned down a little so she could whisper in my ear.

"He looks so whipped for her, right? It's absolutely adorable!" she giggled and I nodded. "Yeah, he does. It's just... He looks so beautiful holding a baby. I don't know why," I replied, glancing at my boyfriend, who was still doting over Bree.

Lucy shrugged. "All men do. When Hoseok was born, my brother - his dad - couldn't stop crying, saying how beautiful Hoseok was and how he was going to break so many hearts. He gushed over him and just looked so beautiful in that hospital room." I frowned and in confusion. "If he loved him, what happened?" Lucy sighed and looked over at her nephew, who was still distracted and telling Bree about me. "Hoseokie, hand Bree to Tae and go get me something from the cafeteria, please. I'm hungry," she said and Hoseok pouted, but allowed me to take Bree from his arms and sit down in the chair.

As soon as he left, Lucy looked at me and my brothers. "Hoseok's parents... they're a story. His father is my younger brother. He was seventeen when Hoseok was born. His mother was sixteen. When she found out, it was too late to have an abortion. My brother wanted to keep Hoseok, but his mom wanted to get rid of him. So, I volunteered to raise Hoseok. My brother went insane, and now he's in a mental institute. We have no clue what happened to Hoseok's mother."

I was stunned. My bright and sunny boyfriend had an anything but a good start in life. Namjoon held onto Jin for some sort of support. "Does he know?" he asked and Lucy nodded. "He visits his dad once a month, but he doesn't like to talk about it. He hates pity." We nodded in understanding and I looked down at Bree, who stared at me in sleepy wonder. Now I understood why Lucy was so stressed out. Now I understood about Hoseok's family. And it made me wonder about my own home.

Namjoon's leave was up three months ago. Jin got a job at the hospital across town. My parents were supposed to come home a long time ago, but they sent money so Jin could pay the bills. My brothers were now my legal guardians for school. What was going on in my own home?

The door opened and Hoseok walked in with a bag of Cheez-Its and a bottle of water. "Hey," he said as he gave the items to Lucy, who smiled and patted his arm. "Hey, Hoseokie! How about you and Tae head on home? It's late," she suggested, eyeing my brothers for a second opinion. "Our house, Taehyung," Jin said and I nodded, carefully handing Bree back to Lucy.

"Pumpkin, I'm so tired!" Hoseok whined as he laid down on my bed, spreading out like a starfish. "Want a massage?" I asked from my closet, pulling out something for him to sleep in. "If you're offering, then yeah!" he said as I threw a t-shirt and a pair of boxers at him. "Go change. Imma change in the closet," I said and he shuffled out of the room.

In five minutes, I had a shirtless Hoseok in my bed as I sat on his thighs, carefully pushing out all the knots in his back with my thumbs. He groaned at a particularly painful knot, reaching back to hold my thigh. "Sorry, baby. It will hurt," I giggled as he groaned again. "It's okay," he said, letting go of my thigh and putting his hand back over his head. I moved down to his lower back, earning what sounded like a moan.

I smiled deviously at him, then hummed. "You know, you're the second person outside of my family that's ever been in my room," I said quietly. "Who was the first?" Hoseok asked, groaning as I found another knot. I stayed focused for a minute as I drove my thumbs into his lower back, then replied, "Jungkook. We're childhood friends and I guess I'm so fucked up in the head I'll only let him and my brothers in here. Not even Jimin has seen my room. There." I lifted off of Hoseok and laid down, watching as Hoseok slipped his shirt over his head.

He cuddled up into my side, face buried into my neck as we got cozy. "You aren't fucked up, Taehyung. It's okay. I feel honored to be in here. It means you trust me," he said quietly, kissing my neck. I hummed and blushed a little, then kissed his temple. "I do trust you." My arm curled around him, keeping him pressed up into my side.

Pretty soon, the two of us were fast asleep.
