"Where are those idiots?" Lucy muttered to herself as she shifted Bree a little. Her boyfriend, Kyuhyun, rubbed her back while she tried to find Hoseok. "Found Thing One," he said, pointing to a row in the center of the football field. "And Thing Two is directly behind him," Namjoon finished, pointing to the row behind Hoseok's.

Jin shook his head in disappointment as we found our seats in the stands. "You guys have no faith in them. They're graduating, they can't be that stupid," he scolded and Namjoon nudged him playfully.

Jimin and Jungkook were around, as well as Mingyu, who came to see Wonwoo graduate. He sat in a wheelchair by the fence with his little brother and Wonwoo's parents. Mingyu's parents had adopted his little brother from China; I only met him once.

Chanyeol was graduating, too; he was class president, therefore he would be beginning the ceremony with a speech.

I set the bouquet of roses in my lap and leaned against Jin as the principal and chairman of the board of education stood together and gave brief speeches. When they were finished, Chanyeol stood and made his way to the podium. He almost tripped over his own feet as he approached, but only I seemed to notice. He smiled a dazzling smile as he stood tall and proud, gazing at everyone in front of him.

"Hello, everyone! The year is finally over!" A few cheers went up through the crowd of seniors, then Chanyeol went on. "Believe it or not, these four years were the best of our lives. We will never forget the good, bad, and scary times. We will never forget sophomore year, when freshman Kim Mingyu's life got flipped upside-down. We will never forget this year, when freshman Chan and senior Jeon Wonwoo won our baseball tournament!" The entire football field cheered, as well as those of us in the stands. A group of junior baseball team members were crowded around Chan, screaming, catcalling, and shoving him playfully.

Everyone quieted down and waited for Chanyeol to continue with a wistful sigh. "Our days in high school are now over, but our lives are now starting for real. As I stand here and look out among my fellow classmates, I see singers, dancers, do-ers. We will all go somewhere in life. Now, I address you all personally."

I teared up a little as Chanyeol wiped a few of his tears from his eyes. "Class of 2018, if I don't see you all on the big screen, see your names in brands, or hear your voices in my earbuds, I will track you down and beat you."

A few giggles went through the masses and Chanyeol stepped down. As they started handing out diplomas, I looked down to see Mingyu and his little brother. At the baseball tournament, he could walk with the help of a friend or two. And he only got cold at night. Now, he could barely sit up straight and he had a few blankets covering him. Wonwoo must have been grateful to have a boy like Mingyu in his life. He was dying, but he still came to watch his boyfriend graduate.

Seeing Mingyu made me feel guilty. I tried to end my life multiple times. I used to hate being alive. I almost succeeded once. But Kim Mingyu didn't want to die. He didn't ask for terminal brain cancer. He didn't ask to suffer like this. Yet he had a good brother, parents who loved him, twelve amazing best friends and a fantastic boyfriend who he was proud of. He had love in his heart and a bright, dying spirit. It just really sucked that I realized this too late.

-------

We walked out onto the field after the ceremony to see Hoseok, Yoongi, Chanyeol and Wonwoo in a group hug. Baekhyun and Chan found them the same time we did, as well as Jimin and Jungkook. The former couple were still great friends, but I could tell they wanted each other back. Mingyu's little brother had wheeled him over to us.

"Hyungs!" Jimin cheered and the four graduates broke apart, turning to hug all of us. My boyfriend smiled at me as I handed him the roses and pulled him closer by the hips. "You did it, baby," I muttered against his lips, pecking them gently afterwards. "I love you, Tae," he said in between sobs and I held him closer, giving him my most genuine boxy smile. "I love you too, Hobi. So damn much," I replied, sealing us into another kiss.

-------

We all went back to Mingyu's house to celebrate. With consent from our guardians, Mrs Kim let us get tipsy on champagne; all but Mingyu, who couldn't have any, and Wonwoo, who just wanted to hold his boyfriend in his lap. Baekhyun sat on the floor in between his boyfriend's legs, playing with the soft carpet. Jungkook sat in between Jimin and Yoongi, both of them curled into his sides. And Hoseok sat on my lap, a look of slight regret on his red face as he held a glass of champagne in his hand.

"Hey," Chanyeol giggled and pointed at my drunk boyfriend. "I don't think he can handle it." Hoseok slowly shook his head and we all laughed - other than Mingyu, who was half-asleep. "Okay," I sighed, gently taking the cup out of my boyfriend's hand, "No more, baby. How much did you drink?" He shrugged and held my free hand with his own. "Two." Yoongi laughed hard and said, "He can't even handle champagne!" Jimin giggled and buried his face in Jungkook's neck. The youngest of the trio looked like he was going to cry, but enjoyed the touch nonetheless.

Baekhyun stopped petting the carpet and reached up to hold Chanyeol's hands. "We should all go around the room and say what we liked the best out of this year," he suggested and we all made noises of agreement. "Okay, I'll go first," he started, "When my baby accidentally dyed his hair a very violent shade of red." We all giggled and Wonwoo raised his hand.

He rested his chin on Mingyu's shoulder and smiled. "Chan breaking himself so we won." Jungkook let out a shout and we all echoed him, laughing wildly afterwards. Jimin cleared his throat and hummed, "When Hobi-hyung dragged Yeri to the floor by her hair." We all chuckled and I kissed Hoseok's cheek, earning a blush and a messy one back.

Yoongi snuggled into Jungkook more and sighed. "Graduating. I'm outta here!" he yelled and I pouted with Jimin. "Hyung!" we whined together, breaking out in laughter. Jungkook sighed and leaned his head against Jimin's.

"This threesome I know that's going to happen when we go back to Yoongi's place."

Both Yoongi and Jimin turned bright-red, but buried their faces into Jungkook even more, the youngest giving them a smirk as he winked at me. I rolled my eyes and whispered to Hoseok, "We're going home after this, baby boy." He shuddered and I chuckled, kissing the top of his head.

Mingyu cleared his throat and smiled to himself. "Seeing Wonnie pitch." His boyfriend smiled and pecked his lips. "Love you," he muttered, earning a blushing Mingyu. "Love you more," he muttered embarrassedly.

My boyfriend sighed and played with my hands. "After every practice, my pumpkin would wait for me. And he would watch practice with Chanyeol." He turned to me with a giant smile on his face. "So every practice."

"What about you, Tae?" Wonwoo asked, all heads turning to me. I thought long and hard, taking a sip of my champagne. "The day Yoongi introduced me to Hoseokie." Yoongi chuckled and looked at me smugly. "See? Look how happy you are," he said matter-of-factly, sending me a wink when Jungkook placed an arm around his shoulders.

Hoseok turned around in my lap and buried his face in my neck. "I love you, pumpkin," he muttered, causing me to kiss the side of his hand. "I love you too, baby."

Honestly, if it weren't for Min Yoongi and his determination to make me watch the baseball team practice, I wouldn't be in this position. I wouldn't feel the way I do now.

Yoongi met my eyes and I mouthed, "Thank you, hyung. I love you." He simply smirked and winked, lifting his cup to me.

Thank god for baseball - well, Jung Hoseok, at least.
