A Glimmer of hope.

Training to be Stronger

Emilio woke up at the sound of his alarm, he groaned, it was the weekend and he didn't know why he programmed the alarm to go off today, when he turned off his alarm, he looked at his right arm, there he saw Soba sleeping peacefully, he smiled at the sight.

Emilio: (Slowly shakes his right arm), Alright Soba, time to wake up sleepyhead.

Soba: (Groans), Fiiiive more minuteeees.

Emilio: (Chuckles), Weren't we going to train today? You said you would help me discover my hidden abilities and power, for the looks of yesterday, you seemed excited.

Soba suddenly shot her eyes open, then she growed into a 5 foot tall dragon and wrapped herself around Emilio, tightening her grip as she smiled.

Soba: Thanks for reminding me! I almost forgot that I have to train you!

Emilio: (Struggling to breathe), I-I'm g-glad I could h-help, but what i-is this your doing?

Soba: (Smiles) A hug of course! What else would this be?  I'm just happy that you reminded me and that you are as passionate about this as me!

Emilio: Of course, but if we really want to train all day, then I should go eat breakfast.

Soba: I'll come with you then!

Soba shrunk back to her normal size and wrapped around his shoulders, he looked at her and they both smiled at each other, Emilio opened his door and went downstairs to eat breakfast with his sis.

The boy arrived at the table with her pet dragon and saw that his sister  was eating her own breakfast that she made, he entered the dinning room and greeted her, she replied with a smile, he took his plate and took his own seat, he grabbed a piece of bacon and took a bite, he gave the rest to Soba who gladly accepted it.

Andrea: So, what's the plan for today lil' bro?

Emilio: I was thinking to take a walk around the town today, y'know?

Andrea: Oooo, sounds like fun!

Emilio: Well, it may be kinda boring...

Andrea: Tell you what? While you are out on your little walk, I'll go buy some groceries, when I get back we can both watch a movie!

Emilio: Now that IS fun!

Andrea and Emilio chuckled a bit before finishing their breakfast, they changed into their normal clothes and  Emilio ran out the door and down the street, he made some turns around the corners and after 5 minutes of intense running, he made it to the entrance of the place where he first met Soba, he smiled and started walking the same path he did to find the sword, Soba just looked around amazed by the forest's surroundings, he stopped once he made it to the tree stump where there once was a sword.

Emilio: Alright, were here, now what?

Soba: First things first, we should start with improving your agility

Emilio: Alright then

Emilio removed his Jacket and Soba grew into a 15 ft tall Dragon, Emilio got into a stance and looked directly at Soba, she smirked and breathed in, she ballooned up her chest and blew a flamethrower at him, Emilio jumped into a tree and landed on a branch, Soba turned quickly and kept firing, Emilio kept jumping from branch to branch, and Soba took it up a notch, she used her tail to hit the trees and she used her flamethrower to make Emilio jump into her trap, but he was aware of her plan so he decided to climb a tree, Soba saw this and flew directly at him.

When she caught up to him, she slashed the tree in half and Emilio was falling, when he was about to hit the ground, a part of the tree was falling in the same direction as he was, he smirked and approached the trunk and stuck to it, he spotted another tree not so far away, he lunged at the tree using the trunk as support for his long jump, Soba landed and saw what he was trying to do, she came up below him and opened her jaws, Emilio was taken aback by this and in a desperate need to avoid being devoured by her, he jumped again while doing a flip, when Soba closed her jaws she didn't feel Emilio inside her mouth, she looked back at the tree where he was trying to land and saw him in there, sitting on a branch while breathing rapidly, once his heart rate slowed down to regular speed he smiled and looked at her.

Emilio: Man, you could have told me that I could double jump before!

Soba: Sorry, I guess I just forgot, but you were doing great before you learned about your double jump, your improving quicker than I expected.

Emilio: Yeah, let's keep going!

Soba nodded and kept training his agility for about an hour or two, when they were done they were on the ground both breathing heavily, Soba was lying down while Emilio was on her back, after 10 minutes of rest they got up and continued their training.

Soba: Now that you know how to move freely, let's start with offense shall we?

Soba's eyes started glowing the same color from last night, a flash covered the area scaring some birds away, when the flash died down, in front of him was the device that threw shurikens and his wakizashi, he quickly equipped both of them and stopped in his tracks, Soba noticed this and wondered.

Soba: Is everything okay?

Emilio: Yeah, it's just that I just came up with a name for the device

Soba: You don't have to name it.....

Emilio: But it doesn't feel right just calling it a "device"

Soba: Alright, what name did you came up with?

Emilio:.......Shuriken Slicer, or S.S for abbreviation.

Soba: Huh, not a bad name, anyways let's keep going.

For the next 3 hours Emilio has been improving his agility while also deflecting Soba's fire with his wakizashi and throwing shurikens back at her, there was a huge difference when he started and when he ended his training for the day, when they left they took the same path they walked before.

30 minutes have passed and Emilio was making his way up his house's porch, he walked in and he saw his sister watching Dead Meat once more, he waved at her and went up to his room, hung up his jacket and walked back downstairs.

Andrea: Glad you made it back, and your just in time, I was just about to rent a movie and I am trying to decide either, Kung Fu Panda, or Jurassic World, what do you think?

Emilio: Honestly, I think I'll vote for Jurassic World

Andrea: I knew you'd choose that one.

Andrea popped the C,D in the DVD player and ordered a pizza so they could eat while they enjoyed the show, after the movie they walked upstairs and to their respective rooms preparing for the next big upcoming day since they were going to the mall all day tomorrow, they had to sleep early, the lights turned off and both of them were out like a light.

But from a few feet away from the house, there was a mysterious demon like creature that had the shape of a woman, a red aura was surrounding her body while she looked at the boy's room and directly at him while he was asleep.

???: Heh, he is kind of cute when he sleeps, too bad I already have plans for him

The red aura that surrounded her body emitted a light surrounding her and opening a portal behind her, she stepped back and smiled.

???: Soon, our paths will cross......Emilio....

And with that she dissapeared, when the portal closed there was some burned wood where she was once standing.
