A Glimmer of hope.

Vacation?

Emilio: Kore o torimasu!

Emilio punched Monaco square in the face before he could press the switch that would activate the bomb, killing all of the hostages, he managed to make it right before they blew them to pieces, he was currently fighting him in his Oni skin.

Emilio: THAT ALL YOU'VE GOT?!

Monaco: Ugh!

Emilio delivered a swift kick to Monaco's stomach, making him stumble backward while holding it in pain, he grunted before falling into one knee and breathing heavily, Emilio walked slowly towards him while giving a piece of his mind.

Emilio: I can't believe you're the one who was behind the D.E.D corporation all along, If only I knew sooner, then all of those innocent people wouldn't have suffered...

Monaco: *Cough* W-Well...maybe...if you let me go...then-

Monaco was cut off when Emilio grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, Monaco gasped and covered his face in fear, Emilio smirked and threw him on the floor once again.

Emilio: You're not going anywhere, you are going to wait for the cops here, but don't worry, I don't see the necessity of tying you up.

Monaco: H-huh?!

Emilio unsheathed his sword and proceeded to cut off one of Monaco's legs, Monaco unleashed a blood-curdling scream while he covered his eyes.

Monaco: My leg!!!!!!!

Emilio: You won't be needing it where you are going.

Emilio threw the leg away, leaving a trail of blood in the process, he then jumped onto a roof and watched as the cops arrived at the scene, The chief looked in the direction of Emilio and nodded, he nodded back and jumped onto another roof, disappearing into the night.

TIMESKIP-GARCIA RESIDENCE, 4:17 AM.

Emilio landed on his house's backyard tree, he jumped in his purposely open window and into his room, he pressed the red button on his wristwatch and flopped into bed while breathing heavily, it was the 3rd terrorist attack he stopped this week, all in the morning when he was supposed to get some sleep.

Emilio (Thoughts): Guess a hero's job is never done huh?

Soba: Your absolutly right.

Soba appeared in Emilio's room while flying around, she laid down next to him and sighed heavily.

Soba: I just wish we could get some peace and quiet around here.

Emilio: Believe me, in a town as big as this I wished the same, but now, with my job as a hero, I think it's really taking it outta me...

Emilio and Soba looked into each ohter's eyes and nodded as they both said.

Emilio & Soba: We need a break...

Then, without warning, Oni showed up in a red flash while holding her arms up.

Oni: C'mon! It has only been a week since I arrived! And I was expecting more energy and enthusiasm from you two! Especially from you Emilio!

Emilio: Well, SORRY if being human and being tired is in my DNA, but i'm tired and need a break!

Oni huffed as she crossed her arms over her considerably large chest.

Oni: Fine! But don't come crying to me if the city is destroyed because of you two lazy asses!

She snapped her fingers and disappeared in another red flash, Soba sighed and started floating.

Soba: I better go talk to her, you try and get some sleep, alright sweets?

Emilio nodded and laid down, Soba enrolled on herself and disappeared in a green flash, Emilio sighed and closed his eyes.

Emilio: Rather than a vacation, I could also use some extra help with this hero stuff.

With that said, he driffted off to sleep, a few minutes passed and he jolted awake once again, his mind came up with the perfect plan to go on a vacation, he thought it over and over again to himself and nodded with excitement, then he went back to sleep.

TIMESKIP - LATER IN THE MORNING.

Emilio waked up to the sound of his fucking alarm clock going off yet again! he groaned and tried to sleep some more, that is until he remembered his plan and got up quickly, he changed to his usual clothes and dashed downstairs, bringing his sister in the process.

IN THE LIVING ROOM.

Emilio: Alright sis I came up with a great idea for us to enjoy our summer break even more!

Andrea: Oh? Alright then bro, what's your plan?

Emilio: *Ahem* How about a vacation to the Himalayas?

Andrea: REALLY?! THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!!

Emilio: Wait....actually?

Andrea: Yeah bro! The himalyas sound great! Iv'e been dying over this heat and wanted to cool off somewhere nice and chilly!

Emilio: So...you agree?

His sister nods

Andrea: Alright Charlie! Go pack your bags! We'll leave for the airport in 2 and a half hours!

They both dashed upstairs and ran in ther corresponding rooms, Emilio grabbed his backpack and started filling his bag with clothes, some comics, and some videogames.
After they were both packed they left to the airport, not before making sure the house was locked.

TAXCO AIRPORT-3:23 P.M.

Emilio sat next to Andrea who was reading a book while they waited to board the plane.

???: Dude, do you think they'll let us snowboard?

Emilio turned to Jason and smirked at him. He had currently asked his sisters if he could come with them, they agreed and came to pick him up, after saying a little goodbye to his family, he tagged along with them for the rest of the day.

Emilio: Of course they will, what would be the point of us bringing our skateboards without wheels?

Jason: I mean, YOU are probably the one who's gonna fail and loose our little bet!

Emilio: You wish!

They laughed and fist bumped each other, the two of them had been long time friends, they even considered themselves family. After a few more minutes of waiting, they boarded the plane and took off to their next cold destimation.

Unknown to Emilio, he was going to see a new side of Jason and meet someone new.
