Namjoon didn't have a nightmare.
He woke up refreshingly, stretching out like a starfish on his bed with a loud, pleasing hum. Rubbing his eyes, he blinked and moved the curtains away from the window beside his bed to be engulfed by the warmth that was from the sun. There was no work. He was happy.
He turned to his nightstand, noticing a small heart shaped box and a pair of chopsticks in a paper sleeve. Picking the chopsticks up, he couldn't help but smile just a little.
Yoongi walked him home despite the far walking distance from the restaurant. He refused to call a taxi because it would 'take away their time together' and would willingly carry Namjoon the rest of the way if he got tired. It took a total of two hours to bring him home not because of the distance, but because Yoongi always seemed to find a way to take a detour. He didn't want to say goodbye yet. He took Namjoon to random shops that were still open, took him to tea shops, and begged for Namjoon to spend some time in a cat cafe before it closed.
Namjoon took the chopsticks out of the paper sleeve, and he almost laughed.
Written with pen on the sides of the wooden chopsticks were a small note.
You think I'll just disappear like some fairytale? I ain't letting a prince like you go.

- Prince Min of plscallme Kingdom :)Namjoon instantly grabbed his phone to call the goofy prince.
Yoongi answered literally after the second ring.
"I see you've got my note," Yoongi smiles, "Morning, your highness."
Namjoon laid back on his bed with his phone in his hand. He looked back at Yoongi, only showing his forehead and eyes to the camera. "... I woke up looking like a monstrosity. Good Morning, Yoongi, what're you up to?"
Yoongi hums for a bit, Namjoon could hear typing in the background. "Just some extra work at the building. You look cute, I hope you had a good sleep, right?"
"Right. So, you do work for an entertainment..." Namjoon nods, shuffling around his bed. Hoping Yoongi wouldn't see the mess also known as his bedroom. "... What do you exactly do there?"
Yoongi hums, his eyes moving away from Namjoon for a bit. "I host podcasts with the idols under our contract, and produce stuff here and there. You?"
"That's so cool!" Namjoon says with a small cute gasp, he lays on his tummy. Placing his phone on his pillow, "... I just work for theatre."
"You act?" Yoongi's eyes quickly went back to his phone.
Namjoon shyly shakes his head, cupping his own cheeks and softly sighing. "Just help with backstage and auditioning, that's all."
"Look me in the eyes, and tell me you're not lying,"
"I'm not- Hey! Why'd you turn off your camera?!" Namjoon furrows his eyebrows when all he sees is a paused screen. "I can't tell you if I can't see you."
"Exactly," Yoongi says, and Namjoon could basically hear him from.
"I'm ending this call."
"Wait- wait no! I'm sorry, come back!" Namjoon heard a stumble, and watch the screen come back. Instead, he's met with a wooden floor and a messy room that looks like a studio.
There were figurines from shows Namjoon couldn't quite remember, random takeout boxes around the room - even oddly enough, underneath the small sofa behind a glass coffee table -, blankets and a pillow were laying on the couch with a cute little cookie shaped stuffed toy tucked under the blanket, and a book shelf. Photo frames of certificates and some artist posters covered the wall.
He was just as messy as Namjoon, and that relieved him a bit.
"... You dropped me," Namjoon pouted. A second after, Yoongi came back to view.
"Please tell me you didn't see what was behind me, my studio is chaotic at the moment," Yoongi chuckled, smiling almost
embarrassingly."I saw everything," Namjoon hums, "But don't worry, my apartment is messy too..."
Yoongi let out a sigh of relief being laughing. "I swear I'm not a slob, I've just been really busy. I basically have to live here."
That explains the makeshift bed.
"... Your brother is home alone often?" Namjoon asks.
"I try to come home as soon as I can," Yoongi says, going back to typing again. "... But since I work as a producer and broadcaster, I have a lot of deadlines. I go out once and a while..."
"I was lucky to go out the same day as you," Yoongi continued with a smile. He pursed his lips before his typing stopped, and he looked back at Namjoon. "Speaking of going out, when are you free? I promise I wouldn't steal you from another blind date."
"... At least, I'm hoping you don't go on anymore blind dates after seeing me," Yoongi laughs airily, before looking at Namjoon with almost puppy looking eyes. Namjoon swore it made him feel guilty, but for what? "Right?"
Namjoon secretly had to hold his own chest before his heart could squeeze tight. "... I'm free next friday."
"Ah, that's a long time," Yoongi says, "... But I'm fine waiting. Let's figure out some plans together, so we both have fun, but I promise I'm okay with whatever you want to do! Don't feel pressured!"
Namjoon smiles softly. "... I won't. You should get back to work, I need to make some breakfast. I've been laying here for too long."
"Take me with you?"
"Goodbye, Yoongi," Namjoon waved to the camera with a pursed smile, his cheeks welcoming two pairs of deep dimples.
Yoongi pouted before waving back, and the call ended.
Namjoon lied. He ended up laying in bed for another hour debating when to call him back.
