Brooke's POV
"Let me GO!!!" I yell. I'm blind folded and tied up in a room. I know someone is there because I can hear breathing, at different paces. My guess is there is more than one person.
Suddenly the blindfold is ripped off and across from me is Greyson, gagged and tied up. Someone is standing behind him with a gun to his head.
"Ok, I'm only gonna say this once. Where is your father?"
"what?"
"Dont play dumb you spoiled little bitch!"
"why do you want my father?
"God! Your an Idiot! We know your dad saw Marco kill those people! We know he knows who we are and I'm guessing you do to!"
"I have no idea what you are talking about or who you are!" but I did. I knew exactly who he was. He is the reason I had to leave my perfect life behind and move to this drab town. He is the one who ruined my life. "Now please let me go!"
An evil twinkle sparked in his eyes. "you think we are idiots huh? Pauly give him the vamouse." he said talking to the man behind Greyson.
Pauly dragged Greyson into one of the rooms behind the many closed doors. I saw the terror in Greyson's eyes as the door shut. A few screams were let out and then a gunshot. A silence overcame the room for the next minute. No one came out of that room.
Then man interrogating me, let's call him Jerkoff, came up to my ear and whispered, "this is why we don't get civilians involve." he then spoke in Italian to the two guards by the door, telling them to grab me and follow him.
Sadly for him, I had been loosening my ties with a nail file, so when the men tried to grab me I pulled my hands out and used the self-defense lessons my father forced us to take before we moved. On one guard, I used my palm and jammed it straight up the bridge of his nose. You can break a man' s nose or kill him by doing that. On the other man I drove my knee up to his gut and then my elbow to the back of his head when he hunched over. Both men lie unmoving on the ground.
Jerkoff had already left the room and missed my show. I run into the room they took Greyson into to find a lifeless body lying on the floor. There was a door on each wall, but I went through the one with the least amount of scuff marks in front of it. It led to a hallway of 5 doors. Each door I would go through would lead to more doors.
Finally I come to a door with a neon exit sign above it. I open the door to be greeted by a gust of wind. As I look down I see I am on the ledge of a 8 story building. When I turn around to go back inside, Jerkoff is standing there, smirking.
"You got farther this time, good job." he said as he raised a gun to my head and pulled the trigger.

I woke up gasping for air. I sprung up and reached for my head where the pain was coming from. I was in my bed, in my house, wearing the clothes from last night.
That nightmare just gets worse and worse, adding details, becoming more real.
I reach for my phone to text Greyson but I see he already texted me.
"Things got crazy last night and you passed out. I took you home and put you to bed. Just in case you were wondering :P haha. Dude you sure know how to party!"
I have absolutely no memory of drinking last night. And that text, did not sound like Greyson.
I sat up in my bed, half paralyzed. One hand gripping my hair at the back of my head. It took a lot of energy to move that hand. I stare blankly at the walls, as if they would change at any moment, whether it was colour or structure. I started to wonder, was I really going crazy? Was I going to lose it? And more importantly did the dreams actually mean anything?
My hands were shaking and my eye wouldn't stop twitching. Was I really just dreaming?
Kirsten's POV
“Good Morning!” a cheerful Jackson said from behind the stove. I could smell bacon and scrambled eggs in the air. As the smell ran through my nose, another flashback entered my mind.
“Hey honey! Come help me with this!” my father yelled as he tried dragging in the new stove he bought.
“Where’d this come from?” I asked.
“I thought it would be a good investment. Now we can have a hot meal every morning, a nice lunch every afternoon, and a hot dinner every night!”
“Ya, but we don’t have the money for that.” I said with a concerned look on my face.
“Let’s just say we came into a little money” he said while petting my head.
“Really? How?”
“You don’t need to worry about that.”
After that I never asked again and ate my eggs in peace. I’ve never thought about that until now. Was it a mob connection? Hush money?
I quickly snap out of it when I feel tears swelling up in my eyes.
“Making breakfast? Yummy.”
“Ya, thought we could use some. But we are out of juice. Mind running to the store to pick some up?”
“No problem!” I said grabbing my purse and heading out the door.
As I am walking down the street, I feel very paranoid. I’m happy I can be outside and live a normal life, but you never know when something could happen. I would have never expected for my parents to be gone, but now they are. I can only learn and move on.
As I walk into the store I see a little girl with her mom at the checkout. The little girl is begging for a candy bar and mom is refusing. It reminds me of when that used to be me and my mom. Here come the tears again.
I quickly grab the juice and pay. As I am leaving I have the strangest sensation that I’m being followed. I turn back and pretend to be looked at addresses. Someone is right behind me in a black hoody. God, I hate black hoody’s. I walk a little faster and so does the man. Déjà vu right? I turn back to face him. This time I’m not running.
“I’m sorry can I help you?” I ask in a condescending tone.
“Oh ya, you dropped this back there.” He hands me my phone.
“Oh! I’m sorry! Thank you so much.”
“Wouldn’t want to lose that. I’m Greyson by the way.”
I pause. Should I say my real name? “I’m Rae.” That’s sort of the truth. Rae is my middle name.
“Have a nice day Rae.”
I nod and smile. God this is all such a bad dream. At least, I hope I am dreaming.
