Casey
Huffing relived that no one got hurt, I look at Breaklight who sat at the windshield staring down the car and boy. Driving forward, Dad slouched back into his seat, glancing at him I pat his shoulder in a reassuring way.
"You okay Dad?" Still dazed, and trying to process the events of the evening. He lazily turned his head at me, with dark bags under his eyes,
"Yeah."-
I drove on the more run down side of town to drop Dad and Breaklight off. Stopping in front of an apartment complex, I saw my uncle, Dads older brother Nathan. I watch as Breaklight perked up changing back into a Walkman.
Dad picked him up, hopping out of the truck. As he did, I caught eye contact with my uncle,
"Hey, Uncle Nate." I gave him a closed lip smile, with a slight two finger wave.He smiled back having his eyes crinkle at the corners. Both men looked like twins, it sometimes freaked me. One time Uncle Nate was at the store, and I mixed him up with Dad who was in the garage. Both were only one year apart, Uncle was forty one, Dad was forty. Both have black hair with white speckles here in there, they have peppered hair. Uncle was six foot, Dad was five eleven. Both have dark brown eyes, with a bluish grayish ring around around their iris. The same natural reddish copper skin tone, and from being outside all the time. Same for mom, who was outside most of the time during her younger days. Simply, they're from Arizona's, four corners area.
Dad leaned in before shutting the door,
"Casey, you can't tell anyone, I mean it, about Breaklight." He used his stern voice in a quiet whisper. I nodded, as he slammed the door shut.Waving goodbye at both men -and Breaklight in mind- I take the truck out of the parking space, making my way back to my apartment complex. Home.
-
Truck already parked at its usual parking spot, I began walking to my apartment building. Bomber jacket on, with my bag slinged over my right shoulder. Covering my mouth as I yawned loudly, I sighed patting my cheeks.
"Come on Casey. Stay up." I said to myself.Whatever Breaklight told me, I wondered about everything. I had questions I wanted to ask, I was interested to know more about Cybertron. Is that a good, or bad thing?
Unlocking the door with my keys, I enter seeing Cash at the table eating a burger. My mouth watered at the smell and thought of food. Closing and locking the door, I exhaled loudly. Tossing my bag on the floor by the leg of the table in the tiny dining room. I plop down beside Cash.
Chewing his food, he passed his small cup of fries for me to eat,
"Thanks man."Taking a few fries and shoving them in my watering mouth. I get up heading towards the fridge taking two pop cans out. Swallowing down my fries, I shut the fridge, and toss a coke to Cash,
"Think fast."-

Following the Camaro into a restricted area. It drove in front of a train passing by. I would say, I'm really dedicated to get my car back. And I am getting my car back.
Failing to keep up, I stop and wait for the train to pass while catching my breath. Damn. . . The train passing, I leave my only transportation right there, on the ground, for no apparent reason.
