Oblivious we are to the faults in our hearts
Assalamualaykum brothers and sisters and humans, and welcome! I am extremely happy that you have actually opened this book and come to reading these very words. It's moreso a pleasure to have your attention and to talk to you.
Not the lipstick
Not the Armani jeans
Not to the sunglasses
Not to your ambitions or your dreams.
I want to talk to you. I wish only the best for you and for every person who has been guided to this book, I love you all for the sake of the one who has created us, sustained us, nurtured us; Allah SWT.
And so I wish this book to be a form of guidance, a reason to smile and to, well enjoy...the halal way!
We are all human, prone to making mistakes, and so little do we internalise the effect it has unto our hearts. Every sin=a black blotch unto the heart. And do we realise the expense of our sins? It's cheaper to buy a pack of Haribo's, it's more entertaining to talk about someone else, it's more rational to think of the present and become unmindful of the future in the grave, but to what expense?
Our hearts and souls deserve better than what we give to them. It seems that for the pleasure of our body, we risk the suffering of our soul so for exampleplaying music may be pleasing to the ears yet in fact it causes a disease in the heart. And yet what's more is that hearts become so diseased that they die. Not like a heart attack, but rather the heart begins to feel no emotion and no signs of sympathy and compassion, no remorse or fear for Allah or anything.
"....indeed there is in the body a piece of flesh which if it is sound the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt then the whole body is corrupt. Indeed that is the heart"
