Assalamualaykum so sorry for such a late update everyone, seriously!
I have been quite busy with my other book "The perks of being a Hafizah" and with exams and so hopefully wish to update much more often.
Jizakallahukhayrun so much for even opening up this book, reading all the way up to here and still reading to this very chapter; I guess many of you have got through some way of dodging my aweful writing skills.
So at the moment, I have finally come across studying much on the diseases of the heart and so my next few chapters shall get to the actual content of the book if Allah wills. I do not wish to spread falsehood as indeed that is worth a grave punishment.
I wanted to focus on in this chapter a really key point that I had only really come across today and obliged me to feature it as a mini epilogue thing before the contents (?!)
And whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islam, and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus Allah puts the wrath on those who believe not.
Surah al Anam ayah no. 125
Coming across this ayah from randomly flicking through the Quran had in fact inspired me to write this chapter.
We, at points in our life, go through a stage where religion plays little importance to our existence. It seems little things like homework to cleaning the house get offered more concentration than your salah. Nothing seems to be working out. You don't change; you keep to the very same routine you were in and when Mr Reality comes knocking unto your door of guidance, you ignore it, in most cases not intentionally.
Alhmdulilah, Allah swt has guided you to this very book, it's very words and specifically this very chapter. You didn't come to this book on your own, we need to remember Allah swt has more control over our minds than we have of it. You were brought here to read this; a source of guidance from Allah swt from his ever blissful garden of guidance.
Shouldn't you be thankful?
At this very moment, you have been brought from worldly matters from Allah to take heed on your eternal life.
Just pause for a minute and think about it; it doesn't matter where you are, what you were doing, who you are with. Put this book down and contemplate, ponder on what Allah swt has done for you at this very moment.
He loves you.
Loves you more than your mother.
Loves you more than your father.
Loves you more than your husband.
Loves you more than you could ever love yourself.
And doesn't he deserve love back?
How selfish are we then!
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. (Surah al Mu'minoon ayah no. 78)
And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright. (Surah al Baqarah ayah no. 186)
فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ
I am near.
How merciful and bountiful our lord is!
No matter what sins you have commited, where you have fallen, who you have wronged, who you have cheated........
Call upon him.
And where ever you are.
He will respond.
In so many amazing ways that you could never imagine.
I mean, what could possibly better than that?
Yet we don't seem to see it.
Not of all us that is.
Appreciation is crucial to understand and to seek and to answer the door of guidance. To seek the true knowledge and benefit from this book.
I am not perfect.
Far far far from it.
Yet, I wish that I can relate this book to all of you, have an impact and help us all to achieve jannah together.
And to do this I need your help.
Please PM me issues you would like me to address, have a potential chapter to add into this book in sha Allah so that we can work together and really achieve our part to help each other.
Islam has been split into pieces, the khalifah rule destroyed, the shield broken and we cannot afford to spilt at this point on here.
Fame isn't the focus; this book is what I wish We can together achieve great reward from.
I am deeply sorry if this chapter has not been what most of you may have expected it to be like! I do Apologise for the lack of quality but in sha Allah, it shall improve!
Please please please do realise and think about what has been mentioned in this chapter.
