Assalamualaykum wa rehmatullah,
There is none worthy of worship except Allah swt and the Prophet Muhammad saw is the messenger of Allah.
I am ever so sorry for not updating for so long, the reason was inevitable and so do forgive me YA ikhwatees!
I have decided to create a pic and mix chapter with different topics submerged into one; hope you enjoy in sha Allah!
Before carrying on, I would deeply ask you all to read the Dua below 3 times before proceeding, jizakallah!
Rabee zidnee 'ilmaa
Oh my lord, increase me in knowledge
(Surah Tahaa 20:114)**********************************
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمWhat does it mean to be happy?
What does it mean to be content?
What does it take to make you smile, to make you cry, to make you laugh?
And are these feelings genuine or is it in fact, our very embodiment that wishes to feel.
For however long you have lived on this earth, you have felt the same feelings no matter how new the experience.
And so from those experiences, they begin to all unify in consequences of how we feel.
Yet, as humans we differ. We take different routes to achieve the same thing; happiness, contentment, revenge.
And yet as humans we are alike; wishing to find happiness and entity that is infinite. We want to feel secure, we want to have a "safe haven" but sometimes in the wrong places.
The contentment and happiness we get isn't real and true happiness. The happiness in this world is limited to a certain space and time; we are not always happy and not always content.
True happiness lies with being comfortable and assured in what you have achieved and what you believe in.
And that happiness has a name...it's called Ridha bi Al-Qadha' (being content with our lot in life).
As believers if we truly love Allah, we are truly sincere to him, we believe in him, we trust him with the depth of breadth of our existence, our Ridha bi Al-Qadhaa will be fullfilled.
We wouldn't feel empty, we wouldn't feel sad and depressed in the state we are in.We would be content, breaching a smile that is precious by its essence. No matter what life would throw at you, you would be content. Sounds so fantastical to me, but that is what it feels to love Allah, to love him is to find real true, unconditional love that you can depend on.
You know when someone breaks your heart, never looks back at you for all the favours you have done for them......that, for us, at its beginning was love in our eyes, yet look at the consequences.
Love is precious and something that you should deeply and whole heartedly leave in the hands of Allah swt and truly he shall never break your heart.
And as soon as you are satisfied and. Convinced of that then you are happy and content in this life and on a short journey to Jannah
"I am pleased with Allah as my lord, with islam as my religion and with Muhammad as my Prophet".
Another point to true happiness is to satisfy your soul, not your physical body.
A smile at the face is not the same as a true delving, almost paramount feeling of happiness in the heart. We can smile at everything much like we "lol" at everything on texts.
A very wise sister once told me:
"Any one can type lol, but it takes someone who is really laughing out loud to type "laughing out loud""
It is in fact the same with the heart.
Your soul needs feeding to stay alive, much like your physical body and to keep it nourished........be part of meaningful work; assist the distressed, feed the homeless, don't over shop, overeat for that damages the soul.
"True enrichment does not come through possessing a lot of wealth, but true enrichment is the enrichment of the soul"
Al Bukhari. And even then, people will put you down, tell you that you are useless, incompetent; it's inevitable.
And guess what.....you are not.
You are unique, part of a complete factuality, you existence is unique, free from duplication. You are yourself from your experiences and that is what makes you unique...not perfect but perfact......
A wise muslim taught me that. We are not perfect but rather per (each) fact; each component of your existence has made you the way you are, fighting to become something you are not just to please the people is a step in the wrong direction.
You can't be perfect, you can just be human, being a product of being perfect at learning from mistakes. And by that, having no expectations in other than Allah swt- by placing your reliance on him alone, any favour that we do, and a good character that we display is not for us to be met with the same. All that we do is in fact in hope.
"O Allah, give me enough of what you have made lawful to suffice me from what you have made unlawful and enrich me by your Bounty giving me independence from all other than you"
Al Tirmidhi. And to finally end, for the icing
To the cake of happiness, promote sisterhood/brotherhood- to feel part of a group gives us a sense of security and a safety net to fall unto in occasions of happiness and hardships. The concept of brotherhood and sisterhood is one of the central themes of islam.
And subhnallah, such. A large community we have on here and on other platforms; even at your local masjid.Be part of them and see the difference in how you feel.
What is happening in the world is an example of division and the terror of the consequences if lethal to the Ummah and as muslims, what we can't do is split up further.Indeed...
United we stand divided we fall.***************
I am every so sorry for
Such a jumpy chapter! Please do forgive me for the quality!May Allah swt bless you all
Wassalam!xx
