<Evening, Cave near the seashore, Near the Mud Gate, King's Landing, The Crownlands...>

One Arya Stark walked out of the darkness of a cave, the signal that her long travel through the dark was finally at an end. Her clothes, face and hair were matted with dirt and mud from her journey, but the Stark girl was as determined as ever to get the piece of information that she had gained to her father... and she also wanted to be near her father after so many hours in the dark.

Walking amongst the rocky shores, Arya noticed the fishermen of King's Landing, both old and young, working together to gain their living from the sea underneath the shadow of the Red Keep, the castle standing proud and bloody in the early evening sun.

With a sigh, the young She-Wolf made her way towards the fortress and seat of the King of the Seven Kingdoms.

<Half an hour later, Entrance to the Red Keep, King's Landing, The Crownlands...>

Arya watched her surroundings as the tired girl made her way towards the nearest entrance into the Red Keep that she could find... but found her way barred by two Goldcloaks.

"Off with you. No begging." One guard dismissed her somewhat roughly.

"I'm not a beggar. I live here." Arya said truthfully.

"D'you want a smack on your ear to help you with your hearing?" The other goldcloak asked threateningly.

"I want to see my father." Arya stated, wanting to get this done quickly.

"I want to fuck the queen, for all the good it does me." The second goldcloak said raucously.

"You want your father, boy?" The first guard asked the Stark.

"He's lying on the floor of some tavern, getting pissed on by his friends." The first guard said cruelly.

"My father is the Hand of the King! I'm not a boy, I'm Arya Stark of Winterfell. And if you lay a hand on me, my father will have both your heads on spikes. Now, are you going to let me by or do I need to smack you on the ear to help with your hearing?" Arya spoke with all her lessons of nobles putting down commoners.

Her tone definitely made the guards lose their smiles of mirth at hearing something so sophisticated coming from the mouth of a young girl that they thought to be a peasant.

Both guards glanced at each other before looking back at Arya, who made sure to hide the sudden nervousness that cropped up within her.

This wasn't the North or Winterfell, where she felt safe. This was the south... and here, enemies were everywhere.

<Minutes later, The Hand's Office, Tower of the Hand, The Red Keep, King's Landing, The Crownlands...>

Arya kept her face blank even as she could feel the shame radiating from within her as her father's words cut deep into her flesh, his berating of her doing more discipline to the wild child than her mother's ever had.

"You know I had half my guard out searching for you?" Ned asked her, though she remained silent. "You promised me this would stop." "They said they were going to kill you." Arya blurted out, catching her father by surprise.

"Who did?" Ned asked.

"I didn't see them, but I think one was fat." The girl said truthfully, but Ned only pinched the bridge of his nose to deal with the growing headache he was starting to gain from both his daughters.'

Just this morning, he had seen his son off, and now, he'd learnt how his foster father had died and had the shock of his life when his daughter had ended up missing in the snake pit of a city.
