<Same time, Stark Army (Commander: Robb), The Whispering Wood, Near Riverrun, The Riverlands...>

Robb's breath was slow as his men lay silent in the night, the woods hiding their presence from the loud forces of the Kingslayer, Jaime Lannister himself at the head of a few hundred men, the arrogant son of Tywin Lannister unaware of the enemy that lay in wait for him in the woods.

"Piper! Vance! If you're men with your balls dangling from your legs, come out and fight!" The Kingslayer taunted the two Riverlords that led regular guerilla attacks on the Lannister forces.

That was when Robb gave the signal.

"For Winterfell!" He cried as the three forces consisting of 22,000 men including the forces from House Frey, surrounded the Kingslayer's meagre force in a show of strategic strength and planning,

The thunder of hooves was all Jaime Lannister heard in the dark, along with the guttural war cries of Northerners before the screams of his own men, caught by surprise in the dark were slaughtered by the massive enemy that they could not see, cut down by northern swords in the dark.

Jaime was unfortunately thrown from his steed, the damn mount rearing up just before a spear went through its side and the horse died.

Getting up to his feet, Jaime could see in the dim light that the forest allowed, along with the fallen torches of his own men, the numerous amount of Northerners that surrounded his forces, which brought confusion to him.

Hadn't his father said that he was moving against Robb Stark? So how was he here?

Unless... looking around, Jaime didn't see sign of the Wolf Knight, nor see the swordsmanship that even he himself would have hesitated to face.

It seemed that the Wolf Knight had provided the perfect distraction for Lord Tywin.

He wondered what his father would think when he found out that he was fooled by the bastard son of Eddard Stark, the man himself rotting in a dungeon under Lannister mercy.

Jaime ducked and crouched, keeping low to the ground amidst the slaughter in the darkness as he saw a gap, heading straight back to the war camps that held the majority of his men and the hostages held Riverrun at the mercy of the Lannisters... but that was when he saw another chance appear.

There was Robb Stark, the not-so-green boy cutting and slicing his way through Lannister soldiers as his direwolf tore out their throats, even the throats of the horses of Jaime's men. Stark and beast fought as one, tearing into Lannister troops with unnatural co-efficience, however Jaime Lannister saw only one thing; the chance to break the northern host.

Finding some inner well of strength, the Kingslayer immediately made a beeline for the heir of Lord Eddard Stark, cutting through any man that got into his way.

Two sufficiently armed men tried to stop, both bearing the Karstark banner on him, however Jaime cut them down without a thought, his single minded need to defeat the son of Ned Stark all that mattered to him in that moment... until he a felt a sharp pain to the back of his head.

The world seemed to tilt before he felt the dirt his his face, the mud splashing on his cheek before all he knew was darkness.

The feared and mighty Kingslayer... knocked out by a stray rock... so anti-climatic.

<Dawn, Tyrion's Tent, Lannister War Camp (Commander: Tywin), The Ruby Ford, The Riverlands...>

Dawn broke out over the Lannister war camp as Tywin began marching his men out, Lord Marbrand's scouts having reported a force of Northerners exactly one mile north and holding there, apparently thinking that they could hold him back from the North.
