Millie
Lights were shining. The moon blurring out on the city. I was sat in my room catching up on homework. My family went out to see the lights. And as I was falling behind with my work I had to stay at home and finish it.
I just hate school. What's the point really?
They give you work to complete outside of class when you go to school to learn and complete work in school itself. I don't get it really. Your suppose to go to school and learn. Home is for relaxing and sleeping.
I was falling to sleep when suddenly I heard a loud thud on my window. I look and saw Finn outside.
"Finn!" I say surprised. I go over and open my window. "What you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to see you." He said whilst climbing in.
"Be careful." I say whilst he climbs in and stands up.
"I know you wasn't at the light switch on so I came to see you." My room was nearly pitch black. I could hardly see his face.
"Finn!" I say.
"Yes."
"I can barely see you." I giggle and finn crawls around the room looking for the switch. He stops and looks to me. Well... I guess he was.
"I have an idea." He says. He pulls some old lights I had buried in my box. They were Christmas lights I had around placed around my bed. He holds them and grabs my hands for me to hold them.
"Finn!" I call.
"Yeah."
"What you doing?" I ask.
"If you can't see the lights switch on then Ill bring it to you." Aw! Isn't he sweet? "Hold the lights." He grabs the plug and gets ready to insert it inside the socket. "Ready?" I look and nod. I close my eyes. I hear noises and then I could see light over my eyelids. "Open." I open my eyes and see the lights. Altogether in a great big ball.
"Wow! Thank you Finn." I say smiling and looking at Finn as he stands in front of me.
"Magic." He smiles.
"I'll never turn them off. Ever!" I say smiling. He smiles and we both stand there holding the lights in our hands. He lights up my world. Honestly. Where would I be without him?
