JAE RA : WHAT?

SEO-IN : Yeah, I and Oppa have planned to recieve mother-in-law's blessings too. Besides, her memorial is soon so, we want all family members to be there with us.

JAE RA : That's really thoughtful of you two. But, I wonder if Uncle will agree on my accompany.

SEO-IN : I know, right? He is totally against that. But then, don't worry. Oppa will definitely persuade him. (-smiles-)

JAE RA : (-holding her hand-) Gumawo(thanks). It has been years seeing my parents. I would finally get to pay them a visit thereupon.  (-sad smile-)

SEO-IN : (-trying to lighten the mood-) Yah, aren't you excited? Those middle school fun? I really miss those days in Korea.

JAE RA  : (-smile nod-) Me too. Let's have a great time.

Meanwhile, in his room, her Uncle was occupied pondering over a way out to manage the ruins, Sungyeol did to his perfect plan.

JaeRa's memory recollections that she had been deliberately trying to hide from him, didn't actually slip his notice. He only chose to pretend a blind eye to it, so that she isn't cautious any further.

However, he feared better and bigger recollections from her and wanted to get his hands on her patrimony as soon as he could.
Mr. Jang, master mindedly conned her into signing the papers only for his own son to break through and unleash his scam.

If only, he succeeded to transfer her father's will to solely his name, he planned to expel her out of his house. He would no longer care if she recalled her lost memories then.

All his life, he had one petty dream– to give SungYeol all the comfort and luxury. His selfless desire fed on his depression and sudden increment of responsibilities with Jae Ra when her parents died.
Gradually, the failed father was transpired into a barbarous self causing him to indulge into anything, but a righteous track.

SUNG YEOL : (-knocking twice-) Abeoji, I am coming in.

SungYeol entered snapping him out of his thoughts as he was faced to the window, his back to the former.

SUNG YEOL : Abeoji, is everything fine with the company? I mean, if things were this bad. Shouldn't you have called me? I wonder, why my secretary didn't contact me about the company.

Even though, he was away in France or had a separate business from his father's, he cared for the latter's company. He held himself as the major shareholder of the same and would often have updates from a secretary he had assigned to the company.

There was no way, Mr.Jang could con him with the same lie for he would find it out sooner or later.

Mr.JANG : Company is fine. Don't worry about it. (-casually sits on the couch-)

SUNG YEOL : Fine? Then, why was she signing those? (-realizing-) Abeoji. It's not that, right? You aren't after her patrimony, are you?

His father's silence, ironically, spoke to him leaving him in peculiar unsettling emotions.

SUNG YEOL : Abeoji~ How can you do that to her? She is your niec-

Mr.JANG : (-cutting him off-) So, what? Her parents just crowned an ache on my head. All she did was leech off me. What is so wrong to have my pay back now? (-pouring a glass of wine-)
