Around midnight I started having a nightmare even with the company of my father the dream was way too much to bare. I tossed and turned before screaming and waking up in a crying mess. My heart racing while I sat up quickly the movement waking Undertaker up as well.
He looked at me, "Lucy...?" He whispered in the darkness of the night, "What the matter?" I tried to calm down so I wouldn't worry him but the strain of calming down just caused me to cry more. Undertaker heard the crying and hugged me tightly. His eyes seemed to glow causing the room to light up a dim green.
I sobbed into his chest shaking constantly, "I'm s-sorry..." I repeated over and over.
He rubbed my back gentily, "You have nothing to be sorry for..."
"Mama, why?" I mutter as quietly as possible. Undertaker must have not heard it though the sobbing that was slowly calming down. He cradled me in his arms until I fell asleep nuzzling into his chest. He fell asleep soon afterwards.

I woke up just before sun rise and ran up the stairs quietly opening the door to Kirari's room. I walked over gentily shaking her awake. She sat up and looked at me with tired eyes, "Lucy? What are you doing up?"
I thought about how to put this so that her tired mind could understand it, "I don't know how to....cook and I thought you could help me....make breakfast." I said in a whisper
She smiled and stood up, "Sounds great. Let's do it!" She practically yelled. I shushed her as we tippy toed downstairs and to the kitchen. I looked around at everything in the kitchen. Not knowing how to cook sucks some days, "So what would you like to make?" She whispered softly.
I shrugged, "What does he like?"
She thought for a minute, "French toast..." She smiled happily and started to get the ingredients
"C-Can you t-teach me?" I asked shyly
She smiled once again, "Of course."
Shes not the best teacher but she did a pretty good job. I thought I did a good job on breakfast, even if I did burn one of the toasts, but you can't blame me, it was my first time. I placed the good french toast on a plate and walked out to my dad with it. He was just starting to wake up and he unclipped his bangs, sticking the clips in his pocket, right before I placed the plate on his lap, "Surprise!" I yelled happily. Kirari giggled from behind the couch.
Undertaker looked at me and smiled, "I thought you didn't know how to cook."
"Well I got a little help from Kirari." I smiled
"Thank you, Lucy..." He looked behind him, "...and Kirari."
The morning was a success. Dad enjoyed his food and never figured out I burned one of them. Kirari made herself a couple of eggs for breakfast and ate them while I just watched and talked to my father. Overall, it was a great morning!
