NAME: ALEXANDRA "ALEX" SALVATORE

I. BEHAVIORAL OBSERVATIONS
Alex appears to be your ideal teenager on the outside but is fighting her personal demons on the inside. Coming from two very complex bloodlines, she struggles to find and distinguish herself apart from her older brother Nathaniel. The two appear to be quite attached to each other that may grow to be unhealthy. Alex often finds it hard to fit in with other witches due to the fact that she and her brother are the last of the witch coven called travelers, meaning they are well-versed in Dark Magic over Earth Magic. She seems to have a bit of an anger problem, having slight outbursts where she uses dark magic though it is not allowed.

II. CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS
• Intermittent Explosive Disorder - During these outbursts of anger and violence, Alex reaches a point of rage in which she uses dark magic. Though she and Nathan are not twins, being born ten months apart, one can always feel when the other uses dark magic.
• Trust Issues - Alex finds it hard to trust outsiders. She prefers for things to stay the way they are with the same people that have always been there. When meeting new people, Alex acts cold and harsh towards them unless she can find common ground.
• Codependency for Approval - Alex seems to be reliant on approval from her parents, her mother especially. She craves validation from them and they act almost like a moral compass for her. Being Independent is hard for her.
•Manipulation - Alex is known to be a master manipulator. She can talk herself out of almost anything, something she inherited from her father.

III.  LONG TERM RECOMMENDATIONS
Alex should learn how to live for herself because one day her parents won't be there to give their approval. She should be more open to meeting new people and accept them for who they are. When Alex finds herself in a fit of rage, she needs to find a place in her mind where she is calm, perhaps thinking of good memories would help. This is especially important because the use of dark magic is strictly forbidden at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted.
