A/N: Final revelation - I swear

I know y'all hate me omg. It's literally been months. I hate giving excuses but a lot of serious things have been going on in my life. I just graduated high school so it's been pretty hectic. I had to go through the whole college acceptance situation and after being waitlisted for months (thinking I'd never get off), I was accepted to my dream college! Sadly, on a less positive note, I found out that a very close family member of mine has stage 4 cancer so it's been really rough for myself and my family. Also, it's a long story that I don't need to get into, but the bones in my wrists are messed up so typing on my phone and holding my phone are both incredibly painful for me, especially if done for long periods of time. Starting and stopping chapters is hard for me. I prefer to write out whole chapters at once just for the sake of not losing my ideas or losing how I want things to translate from my mind to paper (well actually a screen I guess lol). I was writing on my phone before my wrists got bad but it's just too hard sometimes. I was using my school computer but I had to return it before I graduated. That being said, I've gotten a new computer and will be getting back to writing. I'm currently on vacation but I return home in a few days and hope to get started ASAP.

Now, a few quick things to address:

1) The Issue of the Love Interest - I made an A/N before about changing the love interest because as you know, Peyton Alex Smith left the show to pursue another on the CW that he'll DEFINITELY have a bigger role on (as he deserves). So I was going to change the love interest to Miles in the following chapter. But, I've decided to wait until Rafael's departure to pursue an ACTUAL relationship between Alex and Miles. I feel that I owe it to Peyton and Rafael to give them a proper send off. There are two reasons for my decision on this. One is that I literally created this story for Rafael. This was a Rafael Waithe love story and just because I got tired of his character and found out that he was leaving, I decided to make Miles the love interest which was not ok. To change the love interest so suddenly is wrong for those who clicked on this book with the intentions that it was a Rafael Waithe story. I love the relationship between Alex and Rafael and put my heart and soul into it. It deserves better and I've realized that after really thinking about it. Another thing that contributed to this decision is something big y'all.

2) Y'all aren't ready.

I guess this is also kind of an author photo reveal to lol. Hey y'all that's me. I'm not fully glammed and my hair wasn't really done so don't judge me. I'll probably delete this pic later lol but I wanted y'all to see us.

This man is so fine y'all. I was so shook when I saw him guys, like you don't understand. He seemed surprised that I recognized him. Like I don't think he gets recognized or asked to take pictures too often. But he was so kind and sweet. I was so excited and flustered that I could t even get out his name but I made sure he knew that I knew who he was. I wrapped my arms around him so quick y'all. Like this is my screensaver lol. I'm in love. I'm still in disbelief that I met him. Like it felt like a dream. Like as I'm hugging him, I'm literally in my head like, "You're meeting someone that you literally write fanfiction about."

But so, my love for Rafael/Peyton has been reignited in my heart. So Rafael will be getting his proper departure in this story because him and Alex were OTP Periodt. I unpublished the last chapter that was previously written which included Rafael and Alex's breakup and it'll be re-written.

UPDATE 11/2023: Currently rewatching TVD and it's TOO good! I'm getting inspired!!
