Laslow was a normal student attending Nohr Academy. Like always, he wore his uniform prim and proper and always wore a woven charm bracelet on his left wrist. He got the charm bracelet from his mother, who lived somehwere far away from here. He was lucky to study abroad and come to Nohr Academy. Only the gifted and rich are able to attend this school. Either way, Laslow was here and happy to be here. Especially with the special role he was given.

Laslow is what was widely known through the Academy as a Host. The school had this thing called a Host Club where the four most popular students assembled a team of friends they hire without salary to assist them in entertaining the other students like guests. It was like charming people in the school. Going on quick, scheduled dates with them. And knowing these four children of Headmaster Garon, everyone wanted to have even one minute of their alone time. Hosts were widely respected and loved by all. Laslow was lucky to be one of Xander, Garon's oldest son's, assistants.

That's where he was headed now. Laslow had quite the reputation in the Host Club. He hasn't made friends and has gotten over a shy habit he has with both old advice from his mother and new advice from Xander. Flirting. Flirting have him confidence. It was odd, but he felt like he was in control when he was on a flirtatious conversation. The ladies riot when he does so, falling in love woth him like any other host. It was amazing to say in the least. Laslow loved his position as a host. It really helped his confidence.

Laslow walked into the music room to see all of the assistants setting up the room. What? Garon's children don't set up. That's the assistants' job! The assistants were more like apprentices or unpaid interns. Regardless, Laslow was happy woth his position. He rushed over to help his two friends from his past move a futon to where Miss Camilla wanted to have a seat today.

"Laslow! Where have you been!? You're late! Master Xander is going to have a fit!"

Selena scolded him. Laslow just sighed and wore a smile. Fake it until you make it, right? Selena was a pigtailed redhead with a Temper. Talk about a stereotypical tsundere. Laslow lifted the futon so she could relax. He and their other friend Odin moved it a few more steps and set it down. Well, more like Odin etc it down and Laslow awkwardly followed his lead. Selena crossed her arms and stamped her foot impatiently, waiting for an answer. Laslow let out a breathy, hearty laugh. Might as well start getting in character, right?

"Well I saw a few fetching ladies and I couldn't help but compliment them on their beauty~. The mor customers the merrier I dare say."

Laslow sent Selena a wink, who just rolled her eyes in response. He knew she was hiding her smile. They've been best friends since they were young children, just like they were with Odin. He knows better than that! Speaking of Odin, Laslow turns to see his best guy friend waiting his turn to speak. He knows when to hold his tongue, but Ink you're after Selena grabbed it when he was talking too much. It really was a funny story.

"Laslow, you've mastered your character quite splendidly! Though I don't understand why our Masters and Mistresses ask us to portray a specific trope."

Of course, Odin was the sweet talking poet. The big word and fancy sentence guy. Selena role does her eyes and huffed. She was rocking her tsundere trope handed to her. Laslow knew and was aware that everyone here was forced to fit into a character, a trope, for the school's public. They're supposed to convert a different thing to fit the likes of different people. Just the trope woth now flaws or any messy contradictory traits. Selena was the tsundere, Odin was the big word guy, and he was the flirt. Everyone had their preference of Host.

"Idiot! I've told you it's all for business! Besides, we aren't supposed to question what the Masters and Mistresses! Just stick in character, got it!?"
