You storm off without giving him a chance to even stand up. In a flash he's at your side trying to apologize, but you don't care. You barely give him a second glance and you walk out to the parking lot, low key hoping he gets hit by a car. You get in your car and drive off. The second you leave the parking lot your phone starts to blow up. You don't dare touch your phone for you can't stand the thought of those messages coming from Emerson.
You think about going home and crying your eyes out till they're red and sore while eating several tubs of ice cream, but you decide against it. Instead you keep driving until you find a jewelry store. He'll never two-time me again, you think to yourself.
Walking inside you're greeted by the chilly AC. Should've brought a sweater, although it's not like I had time to, you think.
"Hello there! Can I help you find something?" The cashier asks. I nod and ask for a necklace, earrings, and a couple rings all made of sterling silver including a few personal touches. You know very well that as a vampire Emerson can't touch sterling silver but he's crossed the line and you've been waiting for some excitement and this is your chance to have it.
"Here you go ma'am. Will that be all?" The cashier asks, holding a silver chain necklace w/a bite me charm, two silver band rings w/fangs and last but not least a pair of silver earrings in the shape of bats. She bags the items and you pay, skipping away with adrenaline.
