We walked along the sides of an alley. I found myself in a shut down alley. We entered and a 5'10 brunette boy with a breathtaking silhouette greeted me. "Hey, you must be  May," the way he spoke my name startled me into direct eye contact. "Y-yeah, that's me" I stumbled through my words like an alcoholic leaving a bar at four in the morning. "Great! I'm-" I interrupted him mid sentence. He knew I knew who he was. "Tyler Joseph. I know. Huge fan!" The word fan stretched a smile across his lips. Lips like I'd never seen before to be quite honest. "So who's your friend?" My eyesight dropped to my hand which was interlocked with the hand of one of my favorite people in the world. "Oh, this is my boyfriend Alex." Tyler's face slightly dropped as if I'd said something offensive. Almost as if he was disappointed. Of course that'd be ridiculous, though, it's not like he'd feel any sort of envy. "Oh, hi, Alex. Anyway, everyone's this way come on." On our way through Tyler's direction Alex squeezed my hand and mumbled words I couldn't understand. "Hey, May!" a friend of mine and Alex's , Ron, greeted me.  He simply smiled at Alex and left. It wasn't long before everyone had sat comfortably  around a coffee table in the middle of one of the rooms. "Hey, I think Ron is mad at me so I'm going to go check on him okay?" Alex whispered behind my ear and dismissed himself with a kiss on my cheek . Tyler approached me with two cups in each of his hands. "May! I am very aware that you requested a soda to drink. I am also aware that this is illegal considering that though you're very close to 21 you are not. But, since you are however the life of this party I will offer you this alcoholic drink. Now, it's okay if you refuse but I would appreciate you drinking this." He bowed and put out the hand with my drink on it. "No thanks," I said, "I'm not the drinking kind." He handed me a cup of soda. His eyes appeared to be focused on handing me the cup perfectly but they were solely focused on my hand that was reaching out to his. "So," Josh walked into the conversation "not the drinking type huh?" Josh nudged at Tyler trying to get him to add on and make a  joke. "Uh, well if you're more into the huff and puff that could also be offered." Tyler laughed nervously .

Once everyone else laughed he found comfort and confidence in his witty remark. "Haha! No, I'm simply uninterested." I defended myself.

"Are you saying you've never had a drink or a smoke before?" Jenna commented. "Nope. My parents would murder me. But maybe once they lose their sense of smell I totally could!" I joked. Tyler grinned and tilted his cup towards me. "So, May, you into music?" Josh cut the silence.

"Totally. I'm into modern day alternative though. Can't say I listen to Led Zeppelin or Rolling Stones but definitely like music."  I replied. Alex came back and joined in on the conversation. Hours passed and I was drained. Alex put his sweater around my shoulders as he walked me out. "Hey, May! You leaving?" Tyler sneaked up behind me. "Yeah, Alex forgot his keys so I'm just waiting on him."  "Oh, that's cool I guess. Umm.. Can I have your number? Or I can give you mine? Whatever works for you! I just found you pretty interesting so I'd like to keep in touch." He said as if he was afraid of his own fragile voice. I practically imploded. Not only did he think I was interesting but he wanted to talk to me again in the future. " I dialed my number onto his phone and he did the same.
