Feeling it tonight | Chapter 07

Party part 2

"I think I am done with all this dance"Jennifer says taking a deep breathe while trying to balance herself and finally getting successful. She is tried, can feel her arms and legs sore from all the dancing she did with her crazy ass friends, can also feel all the alcohol in her system. She thinks it has replaced the blood in her veins.

"What we were just getting star-"Karan pouts, his hand on the neck of the bottle about to empty it.

Jennifer scoffs not giving a single thought as she says, "Ya well you said that around half an hour ago" all she needs right now is little place to place her bum on and take rest

With that she turns around ignoring her friends searching for a place to rest in the crowded hall. Finally, managing a place near the pool she sits down stretching her legs. Her eyes are closed as she listens to the music inside the house.

After what feels like hours which are only five minutes, she starts feeling bored and decides to go in search of her bestfriend.

Upon entering the house she looks for her only to find Naihal dancing her ass off with her husband. Smiling she looks around not wanting to disturb her friend and instead looks for a corner to sit. Finding one right infront of the dance floor she takes a sit just as someone comes by the table keeping the bottle of alcohol. She opens it twisting the cap and drinks up but stops immediately rejecting it.

She places her head on her palm as she watches all her friends having fun.

Soon, she feels the urgent need to go to the washroom and stands up only to collide with someone on their way out to the pool. Softly excusing herself she moves across the living room towards the washroom, only to be stopped in track as she watches Harshad in a corner near the food table they were before, standing with Priyanka.

She stands quietly observing them and just as the girl Priyanka takes his hand in hers, she turns away mumbling to herself "I need.. I need a loo"

She goes inside the washroom quickly shutting it, putting the lock and moves to the basin. She washes her face with water trying to calm the anger surging in her heart. She doesn't understand but she can't help feel like this.

Quickly, turning off the tap she looks at herself in the mirror as she says, trying to speak it loudly "Stop it! He doesn't matter to you!"

"You have a boyfriend!"she says as her mind panics, but she wants to be determined.

She splashes water in her face once calming herself before brushing her hair to set in place and then steps back trying to smile at herself in the mirror. After few tries she manages to flash out a smile and with relief she dusts her hands on her pants as she says "Relax and enjoy the night! Anyways it has come to end, don't ruin it for yourself Jen"

With the new determination she walks out of the room, deciding to enjoy with her friends before heading home as she feels a little tired and hella typsy.
