"This is serious Namita !" Harshad said placing his glass down as he couldn't take his friend laughing her head off at his situation. The noise in the club wasn't muting her mocking laugh at him. His eyes went around to others from their group having talks and mingling together before locking back with Namita 's, who was having a bright smile on her face

She moved forward clapping her hand on his shoulder pushing it in the process as she cheered him "Oh you lover boy, I never thought you really like her"

She never thought this would happen, that Harshad and Jennifer, two names would join like that. Nonetheless, she was pretty amused at his antics, as he stresse "Yes, yes I do. I don't think she does or she does but doesn't want to be with me. I don't know, it's all so confu-"

Looking at Jennifer now he feels his confidence is deminishing day by day as the chances to win her over appears pretty thin. And it doesn't really help when she is being thick headed. And now he is feeling like maybe he was too wishful and maybe things aren't the way they seemed to him, that she might be right and happy in her life with her boyfriend.

"Calm down. We will see about that" she sighs, trying to get him to stop stressing.

"How?" he asks immediately to which she looks around him, her eyes roam around the club before looking at him as she casually answers, sipping her drink.

"Just leave it on me."

Looking at Harshad's pouting face, haven't received the answer he was explaining, any answer to be honest, she changes the subject. Her eyes twinkling, eyebrows moving up and down in excitement as she says "Anyways, I can't believe you both.. Did anything else happened? I want to know all the details."

He sighs, knowing Namita cannot help him for shit but still answers, more like whines "Nothing happened. The only thing that has happened is her 'perfect boyfriend'", he says having no clue how to get him out of the equation. He wants Jennifer but he feels this guy is making her choose him.

"Jealous much?" Namita smirks at his stressed look

Harshad scoffs twirling his drink before gulping down the drink as he says "More like worried. I like the guy but don't like him with her"

She smiles wrapping her arm around his pulling him in a side hug before moving back to her place in front of him, as she says "Oh you poor baby, but don't worry because tonight we will check how much he is into the story"

Naihal rushes to her bestfriend just as Jennifer enters the club walking to their group. She pulls Jennifer close hugging her" Jen baby!!! What happened is everything alright? You said it was urgent and I already made you wait "

She pulls away, startled a little when another voice joins them. Nikhil coming into focus arm around Jennifer's shoulder who just throws a smile at Naihal, the one she cannot decipher as he asks, pulling Jenifrt close to him, sincerely worried for his girlfriend  "What is going on? Is everything alright  baby ? ""

"Everything is absolutely fine" Jennifer smiles at him, assuring him as her mind screams inside no, everything is shitty. I am shitty.

"Hey Nikhil! It's been a long time" Naihal welcomes him smiling at him and pulling into a side hug before leaving as he smiles at her wishing her birthday.

"Happy Birthday Naihal. Thanks for inviting, I have to leave early have my flight. I decided to drop by anyways"

Jennifer pipes in smiling at them both "Well I forced him too"

Naihal has a genuine smile on her face as she replies"That's so sweet of you Nikhil. Come , everyone is already here. "

She then turns around beckoning them to join everyone at the table.
