"Melody! Wake up! You need to go get your school shopping done!" My mother shouted to me from downstairs. Groaning, I flipped my blanket off of me and slowly stood up. I took a tentative step forward, but yet somehow my foot ended up getting caught on the blanket I carelessly threw on the floor. I face planted on the floor with a loud thump. Ignoring the pain in my face, I shuffled to my closet to change into my outfit for the day. I took off my pajamas and slipped on a black My Chemical Romance t-shirt and black ripped skinny jeans. Once I was once again fully clothed, I slowly walked down the hall to the bathroom. My older brother, Justin, was about to enter the bathroom when I pushed him to the other side of the hall, away from the room of my temporary desires. Justin began to bang on the door, but I ignored him. I just grabbed my hairbrush and began to brush the mop I sadly call my hair. Since it was waist length, I decided to pull it into a high ponytail with my bangs hanging over my eyes. I set the brush down and reached for my make up. I may not be a girly-girl, but wearing make up isn't bad, right? So I added my black eye shadow, mascara, and eye liner to my bright blue eyes and sighed at my reflection in the mirror. I hear a faint snore coming from outside the bathroom door and an evil idea comes to mind. I grab some eye shadow and rush out to the hall, where I see Justin fast asleep against the wall. Silently snickering, I applied some grey eye shadow to his closed eyelids. "Oh, Justina, you look so beautiful." I muttered to him, though he couldn't hear me. I took out my phone, which I conveniently placed in my pocket and snapped a black mail photo of him. The 'beautiful' boy stirred in his sleep. I gulped and ran downstairs to munch on a piece of toast before my brother tries to kill me. Key word tries. "Hi, honey. Are you about-" my mum was cut off by Justin running down the stairs with an evil look on his features. "Uh, Mum? Say hi to your new daughter, Justina. I-um- I gotta go. Love ya!" With that I ran out the door to the mall, where I would pick up my school supplies.
