Everything was so wrong today. My hair was blue and my voice was deranged. It sounded like a hundred other people speaking with me. My unusually deep, raspy voice was the main one to be heard. I thrust my arms out to the side, slightly feeling a shock wave passing through my body and out of my hands. I glanced down to see the guards limping away as fast as they could with an unconscious purple haired woman in the bigger ones arms. At least I hoped she was just unconscious. I took a deep breath in and exhaled it in a long sigh. Just like that, I was back in my own mind. And falling. My eyes flutter closed, as I was too tired to care that I was falling to my ultimate demise. I couldn't tell when, but a giant light suddenly engulfed my entire being, blinding my already closed eyes. I became frozen in mid air, suspended by nothing but a mysterious light. Gently, I was placed on the hard ground. Jace crawled over to my still form and crushed me in a hug. I was gasping for air, but I didn't care. I was just feeling content in his strong arms. As I began to slip off into the land of unconsciousness, the feeling of his strong arms disappeared as I allowed the sweet relief of unconsciousness envelope me.
