Chapter Three

School Supplies

Unedited due to my laziness.

Here in Morristown, Vermont, i will be attending the school People Academy Middle School.

There will only be 76 kids in my grade including me.

There were 412 kids in my grade

back in Maryland.

There are only four more days until i start school (on the 6th of September)

Mom was emailed my homeroom, schedule and the supplies I would need.

She was also emailed the same for Oliver's class.

So today she is taking us shopping.

We were in a Kmart that is located in Burlington.

"Lilly take this cart and get everything that is said on this list and meet me back here while I help Oliver with his list.

I take the cart, promise to meet her back here and then walk off.

I open the list my mom handed me and read...

8th year supply list.

*1 three inch binder

*7 dividers

*six composition notebooks

*pencils

*cap erasers

*college ruled paper

*pencil case

Simple enough.

I walked down an aisle that held binders. I searched for three inch binders.

There wasn't a huge selection on them probably because normal people don't use these gigantic three inch things.

I chose a royal blue one.

I got two packets of dividers. Each packet had five dividers in it.

The six composition books I picked were each one color of the rainbow.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.

I bought a pack of mechanical pencils along with some 0.7 lead.

Then cap erasers and paper.

Then i grabbed a pink pencil case.

Done!

I walked back to wear I was told to meet my mother and Oliver.

I stood there for about four, five minutes before they came with Oliver's supplies.

We payed and drove home.
