Water
Jisung woke up in an unfamiliar room, covered in unfamiliar, yet fluffy, blankets. He stretched out on the bed and yawned as he felt his joints creak. His hand landed on the wrinkled spot next to him and he finally remembered where he was. He shot up in the bed and looked around the pastel room for any sign of his crush. The boy was nowhere to be found, but his pill bottle had been emptied, which scared Jisung to no end.
He threw on a random sweater that was lying on the floor to cover his bare chest and bolted downstairs. The winter weather made the wooden stairs extremely cold and Jisung regretted not putting socks on. Chenle's withdrawals had gotten very bad throughout the night, which made the bed very hot, but Jisung refused to leave the boy. He just took off his shirt and resumed his cuddle session. He had felt Chenle's warm cheeks on his chest and he wondered if withdrawals were the only thing that had made him flustered.
The last few steps of the seemingly endless staircase were so close when Jisung lost his footing and barrel rolled to the bottom, startling Chenle's unsuspecting parents. Jisung groaned in pain and sprawled out on the floor dramatically. The world was spinning, but he could still make out Chenle's hoodie, which just so happened to be his dance hoodie, and he jumped up.
"Oh my god, you scared me. Never do that again," Jisung mumbled as he wrapped his arms around Chenle's waist. The boy was sitting in a stool by the breakfast bar, being watched by his two curious parents that Jisung, thankfully, hadn't noticed yet.
"I love you, I love you," Jisung repeatedly muttered, causing Chenle's face to flare a vibrant red. If any bulls were in sight, they definitely would have attacked the small boy. Jisung placed a gentle kiss on Chenle's cheek and gave him a cheeky smile when he noticed his flustered state. Chenle decided he finally had enough of Jisung's innocent torture and pointed in the direction of his smiling parents. Jisung followed his finger and all the color drained from his face.
"I'm gonna be sick," he whispered before running back up the stairs, almost tripping on the way up.
"Did he just? And you just? With you... what?" Chenle's mother stuttered out as she looked at the stairs Jisung just ran up. Chenle gave her a small smile and nodded. He knew that the interaction they had witnessed was a big deal to them, so he decided to let the two have their moment as they ran around squealing like obnoxious toddlers. His mother ran to him and engulfed him in a big hug. Chenle was surprised at the unexpected action and could feel his throat restricting as his experiences from his kidnapping flashed through his mind. He tried to control his uneven breathing so his mom could finally get a hug from him, but he could feel himself losing control over his body.
"Hey, let me have him." He heard someone say, but he couldn't pinpoint who. The voices in his mind were starting to slur into each other, almost as if everyone talking was drunk.
