A Risky Plan

"So, Myles McCoy is in business with dad?" Ask Ronnie. "But why?"

"Well, for what the files are saying, Myles is in charge of the hugest Black Humans traffic. He is coordinating the whole process, from the African countries to the US and then inside the US. He makes them work in stations, ports, warehouses, transport companies, bars and obviously prisons so they can be everywhere he needs them to be." I explain.

"And he is known for his strength and his abilities to kill people easily. No one wants to mess with him." Cheryl continues.

"So, if I understand well, Josie's father is one of the most powerful mobster in the US and he wants us dead just like dad..." Ronnie sighs.

"Why? I meet him once and it wasn't even long...." Archie tries to understand.

"What did you say to my father? Or what did you do for him to put you through hell?" I ask.

"I didn't do anything!" He angrily says.

"The night of the election, you went to see my dad, I know that. What did you say to him?!" I start to be angry too.

"I don't remember! Something like I would do anything to make him fall or something..." he answers.

"Making Hiram fall will make my dad fall too." Josie comes back. "That's why he doesn't want you to be alive."

"Josie..." Betty walks to her.

"No. If my dad is a part of it. I want to be in." She says determined.

"Are you sure?" Cheryl asks.

"Fucking positive." She nods. "What's the plan?"

The next night

Since not everyone could be at the party, because it would be too obvious, we decided to split in three groups. Betty, Ronnie, Jug, Archie and Kevin went to Shadow Lake in the middle of the afternoon while Toni, Fangs, Sweet Pea, Emma and Elliot went to the building to see the place and prepare the attack.

Cheryl, Reggie, Josie, the New Yorkers and I are now at an apartment Zachary told me to come to. The thirty year-old man is explaining his plan to us.

"Cheryl and Jade, you will just be yourself, talking business with the people around, trying to have new deals... Myles will think you're doing for your future project and will not be suspicious. Reggie and Josie, you will be waiter and waitress so you can see everyone around the room. Elliot will be in a secure room of the hotel so he can guide you. Savannah, Elio and Nick, you will make sure to keep Myles busy, he absolutely can't see Josie alright?" They nod. "Fine, for my part, I'll try to steal a key to someone, Reggie you will try to see if you can help me with that. Then, I'll go to the room where they keep the money with Sweet Pea and Fangs, Toni and Emma will cover us."

"What will we do then?" Josie asks.

"As soon as your father will know, he will send his men after us. We will go to the roof, that's where everyone has to come when Elliot gives the signal. Understood?"

"Cheryl and I will take care of the man who attacked Zachary and once we're done with them all, we're taking care of your father." I say.

"If anything has to happen to him, I swear it has to come from me. Is that clear with everyone?"

We all nod and leave the apartment. We drive in the silent van. No one is talking, everyone is only thinking about the mission.
