The Green Monster's Revenge

Chapter 2: Monster

As Josh and Joe were running for their lives, Josh was dragging  Joe behind him. Chris found out where they were going, it turns out that they were going to the stables. Chris, and the elves followed Josh and Joe to the stables and couldn't catch them. As Josh and Joe rushed towards the stables, Josh closed  the wooden door behind him.
    He threw Joe into the ground that consisted of hay. Josh walked into the stables and it smelled like reindeer manure. Josh turned around and saw a shiny red sleigh in front of him and an evil smile came upon his face. There was four stables on the left and the right. Chris ran to the door of the stables and said

"elves, stay back I'm trying to break the door".

      Chris runs towards the door and puts all of his body weight into the wooden door. It made a huge slam. While Josh runs towards the sleigh, Chris knocked on the door with his fist and said

"open up I know you're in there!"

Josh whispered
"oh crap, he's here"
Joe, who trained the reindeer, whistled. Dasher,Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Donner, Blixen, and Cupid magically flew above each one of their cages and landed on the ground. The reindeer started walking to their designated positions on the sleigh. Josh whispers
"come here"

  Putting his hand out and makes a signal to Joe to come with him. He shakes his head back and forth. Josh quickly goes towards Joe and picked up the elf by his neck. The elf kicked Josh in the ribs. He collapses on his knees and Joe sprints towards the door and opens it. Josh sees Chris and dashes towards the sleigh holding the side of his body. The rebellious brother is on the sleigh and gets a whip from the back of the sleigh and he whips the reindeer and yells 

"ya!"

Chris runs towards the sleigh before his brother flies away, He jumps towards the sleigh and tries to get a hold on one of the gold metal bars on the back of the sleigh. By the time he made the jump, Josh already flew the sleigh into the blue horizon. Chris just missed it by only two inches and does a somersault on the cement ground with hay. He gets up and puts his right hand on his left arm and brushes the hay off of his suit. He does the same thing on the left arm while he walks towards the elves near the door.

"I know I should have caught him! I was so close!"

   Putting his hands on his head.
  He turned his back away from the elves and went over to the square of hay near Prancer's stable and kicked it. He walked back to the door and Chris walks with all of the elves including  Joe, He walks out of the stables  
and Joe pulls on Chris' coat while he is walking. He goes down to his height and Joe whispers in his ear,

"how are we supposed to save Christmas? oh, I forgot something, I helped Josh steal the secret potions because he threatened my life."

Chris whispers,
"what? why did he do that?"

"I don't know, we have to talk about this later, we can't talk about this in front of the other elves."

They both stood back up and Chris walks with the group of elves towards the hospital where his dad's corpse is. A female elf with wavy long blonde hair escorted Chris to his father's dead body and pulled out a metal cabinet that held his corpse. Robert's body was covered from shoulders to toe with a white sheet with his face showing. His face was pale and his eyes  closed. They all saw from the side of his head the blood splatter from the ground. The nurse said

"I'll give you a minute"

she walked away to another room. Chris said
" gather around and pray for my dad and hold hands."

All of the elves held hands and made a half circle around Robert's body that was two feet off the ground. Chris, devastated, said
"bow your heads down and let's take a minute of silence"
They all bowed down their heads and stayed silent for two minutes. Chris, in a gentle tone,
