Chapter 1 – Yep, those are my boys.
People don’t appreciate their lives enough. They think “I hate the taste of that! I’m not eating it.” Or “Why didn’t I get this for Christmas?!” Guess what? I used to think that too, before the Smoke Screen hit. Now, I’m an outcast. I survive the horrid mess, and now I have to survive after it. I’m fortunate enough to have friends – no, family. They mean the world to me… We can’t live without each other. Me (obviously) and Alexa are the girls of the group. I couldn’t survive with all of the guys in my group if it wasn’t for her, we’re always gossiping about them and stuff, it’s really fun. Then there are the 4 boys of the group. I know, FOUR. Lots of guys. Like 2 guys per girl ratio. It makes you wonder what things will be like in the future, but I don’t want to think about that right now. Their names are Chris, Andrew, Dustan and Jack. We all get along really well. It’s like we are siblings, but not really. Like friend-siblings. It’s weird. I’m not going to try and get into it.
