I wanted to make this long but I'm realy busy on homework and stuff. Sorry if its horrible.

Derek POV

I laid in bed with Braedon at my side. I couldn't sleep any more and o had nothing else to do. Therefore I was thinking.

I liked her laying there. Its like I was guarding her while she slept. I smiled at the thought of protecting anyone.

Some part of me didn't really feel right about holding her.

I couldn't help but think about someone else in my arms.

That thought led to the thing that had the most impacted in my life.

Paige.

I couldn't help but think of Paige in my arms. Her sleeping human form leaning into my touch. While I smelled her intoxicating scent.

Flashback

I hold a dying Paige in my arms. "Please.....Derek, I can't take it anymore."

Black thick blood ran down her chin. I hugged her and used my wolf strength to snap her neck.

I cried as I held her motionless body.

Flashback over

I shook my head. That's the worst part of being all alone. Being stuck with all your thoughts.

Flashback

My mother, Talia came in. I didn't look up but I knew it was her.

"Mom, I did something bad." I heard her sigh.

I opened my eyes to show her the cold blue color of my eyes.

"There still beautiful, just like the rest of you,"

Flashback over.

I couldn't keep doing this. I tried to keep her out of my mind but.......it didn't work at all. Honestly, I thimk trying to avoid it only made me think of her more.

I sighed.

This is going to be a long night.

Totally the under statement of the century.
