A fish in gigantic ocean
Hidden away from eagle's eye
Thinking wild, avoiding motion
Remembered his peer's cry
Eagle killed all it's emotion
Not for the fish who's shy
But for her own notion
That her children don't die
Harder it seemed as surface was frozen
Peeked it's way, sun with a sigh
Melted ice, no explosion
Sun's promise was a lie
