Slenderman's P. O. V.

Hi, I'm Slenderman. I'm the creepy tall man you talk so much about in the internet and in those 'creepy pastas'. Some believe that I'm a creature that was born to kill, others that I'm good. In my perspective, I am a monster. I've killed so many people just to keep my secret; Megan's secret. So many lives... so many souls... only a monster could do that. And I am the worst. You know why? Because people don't deserve to die for a damn stupid secret. Specially Megan's secret. The secret of why I am this way. The secret that explains why I am a monster. That witch... well, she's darkness after all. Those red eyes trying to manipulate you, those broken lips that threw words to confuse yourself, that wrinkled skin that made you look away, and that frizzy red-hair that made you think that lightning struck her. That was Megan. Weird name for darkness, but that's the truth. Since I have memory, I've been like this and I've done the same things, until she came. By knowing my past, I had to protect myself or the humans would put me on a cage or test things on me. And the simplest way of dealing with it was killing them. At first it was a horrible task, but I had to get used to it; that was the way my (if you can call it) life was gonna be forever. Since then, I've murdered and killed and protected myself. That was daily routine. That was my life.

One day, I was walking through my forest without making any sound, looking and counting all the trees one by one. As it was still night, I could freely roam through the vegetation without any preocupation. Almost no one dares to enter here when the night falls. While I was doing this I heard a shout. My nerves sensed that it was a girl's shout. Shortly after, a bear's voice broke the silence again. Me, thinking that the girl was going to be torn to pieces, teleported to the fighting scene, thinking that it was going to be... fun. That's when I saw the bear standing and roaring at the girl who was on the floor and screaming too. Everything was fine with me until the bear chewed on her leg. Something happened to me, something so strange inside that wouldn't let that girl die. As I saw flesh being chewed by the animal, my internal instinct made me run forward until I was facing it. I started to play with its mind, making it see horrible things that drove it away. Once it was out of sight, I approached the girl. She was not conscious. But she was alive.

I carried her with my arms and started to walk to the deepest part of the forest: where no one would find her.
