Slenderman's P. O. V.

I still don't understand why I took this girl with me. Empathy? Sadness? No, a monster like me couldn't feel no other thing than indiference. I noticed that her leg was pretty damaged, so I surrounded it with some cloth. As I did this, I noticed that this girl was about 17 years old. Her black hair was like a pillow to her head, protecting her from the sharp grass. Her skin as white as snow contrasted all the darkness that surrounded her. Even though I didn't saw her eyes, I predicted that they would be esmerald coloured. I stared at her, just like I did with all humans, but something was different here: I didn't feel threatened. I always feel threatened when humans are around, but this girl gave me something different : trust. Trying to know more about her, I started examining her mind. Actually, I wanted her to tell me her story, but what I really need to know before she wakes up is her name. In that way, she won't feel threatened too. I broke into her mind, trying to get her name. Once I got it, I stopped my voyage to her brain, as I didn't want to have a spoiler of her life. Her name was Kathryn Worth. Kate as her nickname. At least she has a last name, not like me. But what made me wonder was that why would she be here in the middle of nowhere? What was she doing here? My thoughts were lost when her body started quivering. Maybe it was because of the chill air that runs through the trees. I took out my coat and put it around her. She couldn't wake up yet; it wasn't advisable.

Kate's P. O. V.

I woke up in the middle of nowhere. The sun's hitting rays hurted my eyes, so I covered them with my hand. Where in the world am I? I know I'm in a forest (because of the trees), but where's the bear that wanted to kill me? Did it ran away? Or is it looking for me right now? As I sat up on the green grass, I noticed that a black coat was surrounding me. Where did that come from?! From what I remember, I wasn't using a coat. Specially a black, men coat. I saw that the sleeves were far away from my hands; to who did this belong to? I tried to stand up, but fell. Just then, I realized that the bear had chewed on my leg. Stupid bear... but there was a bandage around it. This is getting really creepy. I asked out loud

-Hello? (Kate)

I heard a little movement in the trees.

-Who's there? (Kate)

No one answered me.

-I SAID, who's there?

Again, I got no response. I thought about dragging myself there but it/he/she/whatever it is started to come to me. In the trees shade, it was barely noticeable, but when it came to light, I saw him perfectly. A man-like creature that was about 2 feet tall with no face and using formal clothes. The only thing that I would have added to him was the black coat that I had. He looked down at me and said

-Kathryn Worth. Long time no see. (Slender)

-Sorry, but, did we met... sir? (Kate)

-Actually yes, but you weren't conscious. So you can take it as a no. (Slender)

-Well then... what's your name? (Kate)

He moved his head in a creepy way saying

-I am the worst monster of all. I am darkness itself. I am the one that makes children scream and adults cry. I am Slenderman. (Slender)

My heart went on shock.

-I... thought... you were just... a legend. (Kate)

-You see that I am not. (Slender)

-Wait, how can you talk without...mouth? (Kate)

-Telepathic ability. I can also see, hear, and smell just like you, but in a more advanced way. (Slender)

-Wait, is this your coat? (Kate)

-Yes. Hand it to me.

I gave it to him without thinking twice. After that, I asked

-Do you know what happened to me? (Kate)

-A bear attacked you, but it left and I found you accidentally. (Slender)

-So you took me instead of letting me die. Why? (Kate)

I noticed that my question ran through his spine like the cold air in winter. He stayed quiet for a moment, and said

-I don't know. But the most probable answer is that it was a mistake. (Slender)

He started walking away, but I stopped him by saying

-You won't leave me here, right? In the middle of nowhere? Because, my leg is practically broken. (Kate)

-I do not care. You will find a way out. You humans always do... or die. (Slender)

That scared me a lot, so I started to say

-No, please. Don't leave me here. With my wound, I won't be able to move, so any animal can take me as a prey. I will suffer hunger, thirst, and death itself... (Kate)

-But there's plenty of food a few miles from here... (Slender)

-And how am I supposed to walk those few miles? (Kate)

He went silent.

-Look, I don't wanna die. I still have like 70 years more to live. I wanna have a good life. I wanna be happy. (Kate)

This made him go angry.

-Almost everything in what you call life is sad and horrible and unbearable. So I suggest that you stop living a fairytale and start thinking of your survival. (Slender)

That shutted my mouth right away. But it didn't took long for me to say

-We'll have a deal. (Kate)

- A deal? (Slender)

-Yes, a deal. You will take care of me 'till my leg gets cured. When I'll be able to walk, jump, and run, I will leave you and your forest in peace. Deal? (Kate)

Confusion could be read from his body language, but gave me his slender hand and said

-Kathryn Worth. You have a deal. (Slender)

I smiled, but my hand started to burn a little. I saw that a weird symbol was on it.

-What's this? (Kate)

-Your deal. If you break it, you die. That symbol will inject you a venom that kills instantly if you break the deal. But, if you do what the deal states, it will disappear when you get out of here. (Slender)

He started to walk away, but I said

-Where are you going? (Kate)

-To get food. (Slender)

Oh. My. God. I'm doomed.
