"Wait, wait, wait. Back up. You actually met Nash Grier? YOU MET NASH GRIER AND YOU DIDN'T GIVE HIM MY NUMBER?! AND YOU DIDN'T CALL ME AND TELL ME TO COME OVER THERE AND YOU DIDN'T GET AN AUTOGRAPH OR ANYTHING!! WHAT KIND OF FRIEND ARE YOU?" My friend, Avery, yelled.
"Why would you want anything from him? The guy's a jerk. You should be thanking me." I say, eating a bowl of grapes.
"Are you kidding? Nash Grier is amazing. He's so kind to his sister and he's so funny, and his eyes, oh his eyes-" She begins, but I cut her off.
"Yes, Avery. His eyes are blue. I understand." I say, mildly annoyed.
"What is he like in person? Is he taller? More attractive? ARE HIS EYES EVEN MORE BLUE?!" Avery asks, getting excited.
"Well, his hair actually has natural highlights that you can only see in sunlight, and he's actually pretty tall-" I begin, but I stop myself.
Did I really just say that?
I think I need a nap.
"SIENA! Do you hear yourself? You like him! You like Nash Grier! ATTENTION EVERYBODY, SIENA LIKES NASH-" Avery says. I tackle her to keep her from saying anything else. "Ouch, Si. You could be a football player if you wanted to." Avery says as I keep her pinned down on the ground. "So can you like, GET OFF ME?" She asks, impatient. I climb off of her and lay down on the ground.
"I do NOT like Nash Grier. Just because he is mildly attractive does not mean that I like him. It's about personality. And Nash has a very bad personality." I say.
"How do you know? You don't even know him. He could be the nicest person in the world." Avery says with a dreamy look in her eye.
"Trust me. He is not the nicest person in the world. I may not know him personally, but I know him. And I know that he's a jerk." I retort.
"Okay. Whatever. Neither of us really know him. You don't like him, but I do. That's okay. But, next time you see him, CALL ME. And if you don't, just remember that I know where you live." Avery says, eyeing me. I laugh and turn on the TV so we can watch something that DOESN'T have to do with Nash Grier.

The next day, I make my daily stop at the Coffee Shop. I am greeted with the familiar smells of freshly baked pastries and coffee. I wait in line and try to think about something other than Nash Grier.
What if he comes here again?
He won't. Guys like him usually only drink Starbucks. He won't show up here again.
I was proven wrong about 5 minutes later.
After I got my regular coffee, I was about to head out the doors, when I saw a familiar face.
Nash.
Oh geez.
I try to go over to the booths and hide from him, but he had already spotted me.
"SIENA!" He calls. I breathe out a sigh of exasperation and turn around to face him.
"Can I help you?" I ask coldly.
"I just wanted to say hi." He says innocently.
"Hi." I say. I turn and walk towards the door, away from him.
"No, wait!" He says, chasing after me. When he finally catches up to me, I'm already out the door.
"What?" I ask, impatiently. He smirks at me.
"I like you. I like that you're not afraid to express your opinion about me. I haven't met anyone quite like you." He says. I roll my eyes.
"You mean you haven't met anyone that doesn't absolutely adore you? What a shocker." I say and begin to walk away from him again.
"I don't get what I did to make you hate me so much. What did I do?" He asks as he walks with me.
"If I explained to you all the reasons why I don't like you, we'd be here all day." I say.
"Hey, I've got time." He says, smiling.
"Really? You mean, THE Nash Grier actually has time for little old me?" I say with fake enthusiasm.
"Come on, give me a break. You don't even know me." He says.
"Yes, and I'd like to keep it that way." I reply.
"Look. Just give me a chance. We'll go somewhere and you can insult me all you want and I can try to explain myself. Just one time." He pleads.
Well, I mean, how could just this one time hurt me?
I sigh. "Okay. You get one shot. That's all I'm giving you. And no second chances." I warn him. He smiles.
"Sounds great. How bout I meet you here tomorrow, same time? And we'll go somewhere and talk." He says. I nod. "Well, I got to go. I'll see you tomorrow, Siena!" He says, walking in the other direction.
"Wait!" I say. He stops and turns to look at me."Can you do me a favor? My best friend, Avery, really really likes you and I think it would make her day if I could give you her number and you could text her something?" I ask. He walks over to me and stands inches away from me.
You're invading my personal bubble.
He smirks and says, "What's the magic word?" I roll my eyes.
"Please." I say. He smiles from ear to ear and takes out his phone. He hands it to me, expecting me to put her number in. I do so, and then he takes back his phone.
"Say something really nice. Something that would make her day. Or her week. Or actually, probably her year." He laughs.
"Sure. Well, see you tomorrow!" He begins to walk away and I stare after him thinking.
Maybe, just maybe-
No. I don't know yet.
Well, tomorrow should be fun...
