I am exhausted, but I can't close my eyes from fear of what might happen.

Perhaps I'm going crazy, and I'm one psychotic break away from finding myself in the Firebrook Sanitarium. After all, I wouldn't be the first Stone to end up there.

"Felicity? Uh, Ms. Stone, Hello-" Margret says. She's the owner of this art studio we stood in, people rushed all around us getting it set up for tonights event.

I blink a few times, shaking my head to rid of the dark thoughts that seem to reside there lately.

"I'm sorry, yes?" I say

She looks slightly annoyed but resumes, "Please fill this out, it's release forms, relinquishing your rights over to the hospital. They just state that you are admitting yourself willingly and that if we find fit we can keep you longer than-"

"Excuse me, what?"

"They're release forms... Ms. Stone, you know, so that we can use your art! Are-are you okay?"

I let out a shaky breath, "I'm sorry, yes, that's fine. Where do I sign?"

She points to a few lines and I initial where I need to before fixing my bag on my shoulder and readying for the door.

"Uh, hope to see you here tonight, it's gotta feel amazing to have your art displayed!" She says, making me stop in my steps.

"Yea, I hope one day I can have my own opening but for now this is an amazing start! I'm really thankful that you all chose my art for the year's art walk. Of course, I'll be here!"

"You have an amazing technique that I think is really going to read well tonight,"

"Oh, thank you, I hope so!" I say, edging for the door.

"Are you in a hurry?" She asks

"I'm so sorry, I must seem so rude right now, but yes, actually. I have like a gazillion things to do tonight before the showing," I say just as my phone buzzes in my hand. My sister's calling.

"Ah, alright we'll I'll let you be on your way! See you then,"

"See you then!" I say, pushing the door open and pressing answer on my cell.

The sun is high in the sky as I balance my phone between my ear and my shoulder and scavenge through my bag for my car keys.

"Hello?" I say

"Hey, how'd it go?" Ingrid questions from her end

"It went fine, but that wasn't the hard part! I just hope someone bids on the painting, I worked so hard on it. You're going to be able to make it, right?"

"Um of course, I can't miss my baby sister's first art display! You've been trying out for this Art walk for years!"

"I know, I just can't believe it's finally happening. I'm on my way home now, you picked up my dress, right?"
