Suppressed Emotions (Kaoru Seta X Tomoe Udagawa)

Chapter 1: Unusual Beginnings

Days continued to pass by as an ever growing passion remained burning deep within multiple hearts. A way for them to have fun, do something they love, and create for themselves and others, music. There are as many possibilities for how the day could have turned out as there are stars in the dark, pitch black night sky, yet it turned out to be the pivot point in a few different girl's lives.

Walking onto the school grounds in the morning, the day started just like every other that had come before it. "Kaoru-senpai!" A small first year ran up to her with a smile across her face, "Thank you so much for your help yesterday! I passed the test and got the best grade in the class!"
"Of course! That's amazing!" Kaoru Seta smiled at the fact that she was able to help out an underclass man, "I will always be there to help out a little kitten who is in need." With that, she continued to walk into the all female school and head to her class which was in room 2-A, one of the rooms that the second years, along with a few of the upper first years, had shared together.

Heading into the classroom, Kaoru, a lower class second year, took her seat in the back of the room a few moments before the bell rang to begin class. The teacher was standing up at her desk looking around at all her students, "Good morning class! Today we'll be doing something different from usual," The class looked quite confused as to why their teacher had suddenly decided to veer off from the usual lesson plan, "I will be putting you into pairs so you can get to know each other better!"

After pairing up almost everyone in the class, she looked over towards Kaoru, "Kaoru Seta, you will be paired up with Tomoe Udagawa! Please move so you are sitting next to each other." Kaoru then walked over and sat next to the only other girl who wasn't paired up, assuming that she was Tomoe.
"Kaoru, I presume you're a second year," The dark red haired girl spoke with a kind, caring voice, to which Kaoru responded, "I am, and I'm guessing that your name is Tomoe?"
"That is correct, my name is Tomoe Udagawa, I'm one of the few first years in this class."
Kaoru smiled and gracefully put her hand out towards Tomoe, "So, my little kitten, what do you like to do?"
"Well, I enjoy a lot of things, but playing the drums is by far one of my favorites."
"How ironic, for you see, I happen to enjoy playing the guitar, an instrument capable of creating music both as gentle as a summer's breeze, and as heavy as the winter's blizzards." Kaoru smiled and held Tomoe's hand, "The fact that the two of us were brought together by fate, it's so.... Fleeting."
"I, um.... Guess it is." Tomoe responded trying not to blush or show her slight confusion.

A while longer of talking and the bell rang to represent the end of class. Tomoe grabbed her notebook and started to leave with the rest of her fellow classmates, "Wait!" A sudden grab of her hand was enough to stop Tomoe in her tracks and make her blush slightly, "My little kitten, would you like to perhaps continue our conversations at the café?" Kaoru smiled even though Tomoe was still facing away from her, "If you would like to," She quickly wrote something down on a piece of paper and handed it to Kaoru, "Just be sure to text me the time that you would like to meet." With that she broke loose of Kaoru's grasp and started to walk to her home.
