"edwin"  the dominican could hear as he roamed the aisles of the empty store, " ed come here" he heard a familiar voice say laughing. he started going in the direction where the sound came from, " come find me" he could hear the same voice say until he saw a figure that he recognized turn the corner. "zion"  he thought as he ran to try and follow him. " zion" he kept yelling and trying to catch up to him but every time he got close ,the tall boy would turn the corner, until he turned the corner and hit something hard, falling back preparing to meet the ground but he never did, instead he felt two arms wrap around his waist. once edwin opened his eyes he was met with dark brown eyes and pink lips, zion's to be specific. " you found me" zion says smiling and biting his lip making edwin's eyes immediately look down to them. as if zion was reading his mind the canadian's hands left his waist and instead went to his his face pulling him closer as he leaned down. edwin let his eyes close waiting to feel zion's lips on his, until  he heard someone calling his name making him open his eyes .

"edwin get up we're gonna be late for school" brandon said while shaking him
" ok i get it, i'm up" he said rubbing his eyes
" you better be , and what were you dreaming of you were mumbling someone's name"
" who's name"
" zion's" he said raising his eyebrows in a knowing way and going through the door leaving edwin speechless

it was edwin and nicks lunch period, unfortunately brandon had a different schedule so he wasn't there to help edwin out when a certain dread head came up to him.

zion knew that coach didn't need nick for anything but he had to get close to edwin somehow,and if lying was the way to do that then so be it.
"i thought coach didn't come today" nick said confused "um uh, i don't know dude go talk to blake about it, he was the one who told me to tell you" zion replied scratching the back of his neck, visibly nervous. "ok i'll be back in a minute ed" he said cautiously getting up.  the tall canadian couldn't help but smile at the fact that he actually bought it.

"hey b" he said sitting across from edwin and putting his face in his hands. "hey zion" edwin replied rolling his eyes but none the less smiling also putting his face in his hands. that's how they stayed for a while, just staring at each other,like it was a competition and whoever blinked first lost. until zion spoke up asking a question that almost made edwin choke on his nonexistent water. "ditch school with me" he said smiling some type of way that almost made edwin say yes on the spot. "fuck no" the dominican said laughing " come on ed, i know for a fact you don't want to stay in this hell hole". as much as he didn't want to admit it , he hated school with a passion and a whole day with zion didn't seem so bad . "ok fine" he sighed "let's go"
"yes" zion said getting up and doing a small victory dance which made edwin laugh. "where's your car" edwin asked " that one" he said pointing to a black range rover that was all the way across the parking lot. " i've got a good idea, whoever gets there first gets to control the music" edwin said getting ready to run. " bet baby" he said smirking and taking off. this left the curly haired boy shocked which gave zion an advantage .

once they both reached the car -edwin right behind zion- . the tall canadian got the victory of playing whatever music he wanted. and of course he was gonna play some justin bieber . " ya know i'm a huge bieber fan" he said getting ready to play one of his songs. "oh really" edwin said raising his eyebrow. "yup" he said grabbing the dominicans hand and intertwining their fingers using their hands as a microphone.
"open up to me that's all you gotta do" he sang looking at edwin while still looking at the  road. "give me all your heart, swap mine out with you" he continued to sing as he reached a stop light. "swap it out with you, swap it out with you, you come into my world, i'll give my world to you" he said looking at him right in the eye which made edwin smile and look down.
"if you swap, swap, swap it out "

after a long car ride of singing to all the songs zion wanted -letting edwin pick some once in a while- they arrived at a small diner. "we've arrived at our destination" zion said getting out of the car, edwin following right behind him. they went to a table that was in the corner of the diner away from everyone else. they talked for a bit until the waitress came asking for their orders., edwin's being a strawberry milkshake and zion getting a banana split. " you really got a banana split didn't you" edwin said already laughing at his own joke. " um yes" zion replied confused " you still don't know do you" "nope, so imma need you to elaborate" " well bananas are the same size as a dick, so it's like your eating a - ". "ok ok i get it, you can stop now" zion said stoping edwin's rambling and holding his stomach from how hard he was laughing. "i'm just saying"

later on that day after they left the diner, it was edwin's turn to choose where they went. "main event, really" zion said smiling " yes, now get ready for me to beat your ass".
once they got in edwin immediately grabbed zion's hand and dragged him to the dancing game. "i'm a pro at this, watch" he said while picking a song to dance to.
it was at that moment that zion realized, he enjoyed the curly haired boys company more than a friend. after edwin finished playing, obviously getting as many points as he could, he followed zion to the basketball game, already preparing to lose. "let's make a bet" zion said once they got there " go for it" " if i win you gotta kiss me" zion said smirking " uh what, that's no fair, your literally the captain of the basketball team"
"well then, i guess your just gonna have to lose" he said starting the game

the game ended, 59-27, zion being the winner of course. " i'm waiting" zion said stepping closer the shorter boy, " if you want it, you gotta catch me first" he replied pushing zion making him stumble back and running into the photo booth. "that was not cool ed" zion said once he got in the photo booth. " shut up and pose".
in that photo booth you could get 4 pictures taken, on the first one edwin stuck his tongue out and moved closer to zion making it look like he was licking his face while zion stuck his tongue and middle finger out. on the second one they tried to be serious but zion ended up laughing. on the third one edwin smiled wide like a child who just got his christmas present while zion pinched his cheeks. on the last one they were both out of ideas until zion came up with something. " i got a good one" zion said smiling, "what is i-" edwin got cut off by zion smashing his lips onto his, at first he was shocked but he kissed back. zion smiled into the kiss, and they stayed like that until they heard the machine asking what border they wanted for the pictures . "that was slick" edwin said after they separated " i mean you did owe me one since i beat you". after picking the border they wanted the pictures finally came out. " that one's my favorite" zion said pointing to the one where they were kissing, "hmm figures". after playing some more games and going on the gravity ropes, and finally, much to zion's dismay, taking edwin home. " zion calm down you'll see me at school tomorrow" edwin said laughing at how zion would not let him get out of the car " your going to the game tomorrow night, right" " i gotta support nick" he replied . "ahem" zion fake coughed "oh and you of course" "i thought so" zion said smiling, letting go of edwin's hand and letting him leave, but not before edwin grabbed his face and pulled him into another kiss. " i could get used to this" zion whispered as edwin got out. to make things more fun for him he decided to scare the living shit out of the curly haired boy by honking while he was passing in front of the car, which resulted in edwin just flipping him off.
"i could really get used to this"
