"where did you fucking go yesterday"  nick said stopping in front edwin and brandon as they were walking to second period.  "one moment you were there and in the next you were gone, i literally left for ten minutes and you disappeared".  " ya see about that, i sorta ditched school with zion"  edwin said while scratching the back of his neck.  "my boy" brandon said dapping edwin up.  "wha-  i thought something bad happened to you, the least you could've done was texted me that you were gonna leave with your little boyfriend" nick said waving his hands in the air " he's not my boyfriend" edwin replied blushing, even though they weren't dating he liked the sound of calling zion his boyfriend. "sorry nick i was kind of in the moment and didn't think to text you" "its fine, next time tell me before you go running off with him, i was worried sick" edwin nodded his head understanding. " oh and by the way i won't make it to lunch, coach has the whole team practicing before the game tonight". he said before running off to god knows where. "great now imma be all alone" edwin replied

as edwin walked to his usual spot , where he ate lunch everyday he couldn't help but feel sad that he was all alone. although he loved the peace and quite , he had been spending so much time with the tall canadian lately that he forgot what it felt like to be alone. he hated that he was getting so attached to him. "am i really that clingy already ? and we're not even dating" edwin thought to himself. after some time passed he decided he would pay zion and nick a visit. i mean it was just gonna be for a few minutes how much harm would that cause.

once he got to the gym he saw a few people scattered on the bleachers, it was a normal thing for people to watch the team practice before big games like tonight's game. when he waked in he saw that number 5 had the ball and was dribbling it across the court , obviously trying to get it in the net.

zion was about to dunk the ball in the net , but then he looked back at the bleachers and saw edwin staring right at him. out of shock , -because he had no idea edwin was gonna be there- , he missed the net and the ball bounced off the rim.
" what the hell zion , that was such an easy shot" nick said , being the first one to yell at him. " yea sorry nick i was just thinking about something else" "well that something else better be far from your mind tonight" the coach said blowing his whistle. everyone went to go drink water and just chill out for a while , so zion took this as a chance to go talk to the curly haired boy who was waiting for him on the bleachers.

"hey ed, what are you doing here" zion said once he sat down, "don't hey ed me , what the fuck was that on the court" edwin replied looking at him like he had two heads. "jesus , i made one mistake and now everyone's acting like the world is gonna end"  "in the end that one mistake could cost you the whole game" edwin said rolling his eyes . "anyways like i was saying , what are you doing here ?"  " damn why the attitude , what if i came to see y'all just because i wanted to" edwin didn't know what was up with him but he sure as hell wasn't gonna take any of his attitude. "ed i wasn't giving you any attitude i just wanted to know why you came , if anything you were the one giving me attitude"  zion replied putting emphasis on the word you , he wasn't mad at edwin he was just a little shaken up about the missed shot. "you know what , let's not fight about a stupid missed shot and some attitude, okay ?" " ok good" zion said giving edwin one of his award winning smiles which made the curly haired boy's heart beat faster.
he was definitely infatuated with him.
