Chapter 16: Meeting an Old Friend

*Akasha's POV*

It has been a few days since the incident with Mother. My babies are growing well and are so adorable. But we leave my planet today and set for home. I am excited to be with Scar, but I know I will miss home. There is one place we must visit first before we all leave and that's what we are preparing for now. I am getting Dachande and Dah'dtou'di dressed when Scar came into the room. "Hey there my love, how are my little sucklings?" Scar asked walking closer to me. I giggle and reply with "They are just fine darling. We need to go somewhere before we all leave. Is that Okay?" He nods and picks up Dah'dtou'di. My little sain'ja is what my daughter will be. I nod and finish dressing Dachande. I carry my son and Scar carries Dah'dtou'di. We walked into the surrounding woods of my hometown. I held Scar's hand while the other cradled my son. After about 20 minutes of walking I handed
Dachande to Scar and hold him to wait here. "You need to stay here okay? I won't go far." I said and walked about 20 feet in front of him. I cleared my mind and took a deep breath and called out. "Nemesis!!!" I called repeatedly each time louder than before. I was about to give up when I heard wings flapping. I smiled and looked up seeing Nemesis.

She landed and greeted me. "Hey baby, did you miss me?" She nodded her big head and made me giggle. "Hey want to meet my pups?" I asked. She tilted her head and I smiled wide. "Stay here and be nice." I ordered to which she nodded in reply. I ran to Scar and motioned for him to come closer. He approached cautiously. Nemesis sniffed Scar and growled slightly before acknowledging my pups. She licked them gently and nuzzled me. "Yes they are my babies." I said to her. "What kind of beast is this?" Scar asked. "She is a wyvern. My kinds ancestor. I am a descendant of this majestic creature." I explained petting Nemesis. She chuffed at me making me giggle. "I see. So that's why you have wings and a tail." He states. I nod and scratch Nemesis's head. "We need her to take us to their oasis. It's where my friends are." I state and take Dachande and Dah'dtou'di from Scar. "Don't freak out my love." I say and hold my pups out to Nemesis. Scar tilts his head in confusion and stares at me. "Encase them Nemesis." She nods and swallows my pup. Scar looks at me shocked and yells. "What did you do?!?!" I look at him annoyed. "I said don't freak out. Don't worry they are alive. Nemesis can encase them in an amniotic sac like pouch and protect them. You can't carry them while we fly and neither can I. Don't worry they are fine. Plus I can't risk anythung happening to our pups. So this was the best option." I explain. He sighs in relief and hugs me. "You worry me sometimes my mate." He says I giggle and kiss his cheek. "I know but let's go. We need to be fast." He nods and we both climb onto Nemesis and mount her. "Take us to your home Nemesis." I say to her. She nods before running ahead picking up speed before she spreads her wings and jumps as the wind takes us up towards the sky. Scar wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled himself closer to me. I smiled and laid my head on his chest until we arrived. 

*Scar's POV*

We had been traveling through the air for about 30 minutes now until we reached an oasis of floating mountains and hills with streams running down the sides of them.
