The one call that changed everything. Roman has talked about his boyfriend for a year to his family but they've never met him. He would love for them to meet him...if he was real. It was a day before he was going to drive down to Kansas when he got the call. He answered the phone and his mom's voice was on the other end. "Hey Ro."
"Hey, Mama I'm getting packed as we speak," He says taking his neatly folded clothes beside his bag and putting it in the bag.
"That's great to hear. Well, I have a request for something I need you to bring," She says apprehensively.
"What's that Mama?" He asks grabbing his toiletry bag and walking to the bathroom.
"Your boyfriend. It's time we meet him, you've been talking about him for a year now!" She exclaims and Roman drops his toothbrush in the toilet.
"Shit!" He curses under his breath.
"What was that?" His mom asks.
"Nothing Mama just give me a second." He takes the phone from his ear and looks towards the door. "Patton! Logan! Virgil! Get in here!" He screams and they all come rushing in. "Can one of you get my toothbrush out of the toilet and throw it away." Logan and Virgil look at him angerly and walk out and Patton runs to get a pair of gloves. He comes running in shortly after pulling the toothbrush out and throwing it away. Thank you, Patton, I owe you one," He says as Patton walks out. "Sorry 'bout that Mama. I don't think he can come," He says taking his toiletry bag back to his room and putting it in his bag.
"It wouldn't hurt to ask. I mean it's gotten quite serious from what you've told us and I'd like to meet this fella before the wedding," She says chuckling.
"I can't argue with you Mama I'll ask but I don't think he can," He says zipping his bag up.
"Make sure he can even if it's delayed for a day or two. I want to meet him," She says hanging up.
"DAMMIT!" Roman yells putting his phone in his pocket and walking to the living room where everyone else was. "I need you guy's help, well Logan or Patton's."
"Good. I wasn't going to help anyway," Virgil says turning down the television.
"What do you need kiddo?" Patton asks as Logan listens closely.
"I need one if you to pretend to be my year long boyfriend for Christmas." Virgil bursts out laughing. "What's so funny?"
"I forgot you lied to your parents about that. You're really an idiot," He says stopping his laughter.
"Sorry kiddo we can't we have to go to Logan's parents for Christmas then mine the next day," Patton says kissing Logan's cheek.
"Dammit," Roman says slowly looking at Virgil.
Virgil's smirk turns into a frown. "Oh no, no, no! I wasn't an option I'm still not an option!"
"No serious PDA! No one has to know. It will only be for a week then we can go back to hating each other," Roman says walking towards Virgil.
"I said no dumbass! You were stupid enough to lie to your parents you get to suffer the consequences!"
"But my mom will be so disappointed. Can we make a deal?" Roman says getting on his knees ready to beg.
"Like what?" Virgil asks cocking an eyebrow.
"Um, I'll pay you? Or do your chores for a month? Or I'll do something embarrassing in front of a group of people?" He suggests.
"How about all of that?"
"Deal!" Roman exclaims jumping up.
"Wait really?" Virgil asks shocked.
"Yes say deal!" Roman says putting his hand out.
"Fine, deal," Virgil says shaking Roman's hand.
